Brightwitch

In the time before The Collapse, Brightwitch was the home of Ostrain's royalty. A big, bright port town as a shining beacon of all they were capable of.

Afterwards the monarchy disappeared, its last living members dying in the calamity. The city still stood, a testament to the architects that had originally built it, but with no rulers things fell into disarray quite quickly. The Adventurer's Guild moved in a few years later, taking over the old castle as their base in Ostrain.

They preserved what they could for historical purposes, and expanded to run the whole city so it could remain open as a trade port for the region. It is arguably one of their most powerful operational bases, and sometimes that turns heads.
