When the clones of Hati were encouraged to become their own people and live their own lives Rowan wasn't sure what she wanted to do. She bounced around a few different skills until Pyria Krismoira suggested she try divination. As a cartomancer, Pyria sensed some latent talent in Rowan and encouraged her to follow that path.

Cards were not Rowan's style, however, and soon she found herself more in line with crystal ball divination and similar methods. What few know is that within The Adventurer's Guild there is a small group working to use their powers to help; if they see visions of disaster with certain adventurers they will be sent elsewhere, while visions of an assured victory may be what gets one group assigned to a job over another. It's imperfect, as all future-seeing is, but it's saved lives and Rowan is happy to lend her skills to them now.
