The Hatis

Hati has been running the front desk of The Adventurer's Guild since it set up in the city of Brightwitch.

Hati always insisted on doing things herself; anyone else would get it wrong, training anyone else would take time away from her job with no guarantees. So what did an intrepid group of adventurers decide?

They went to Faethyra with an idea; make magical copies of Hati. Physical copies with her memories, so they would do things as she did and know what she knows. Hati could not make a good argument to counter this, so several mages worked together to create these copies.

Over the years, and at the urging of several adventurers and adventuring parties, the various copies gave themselves unique names and began to develop their own interests. None of them forget that they are magical creations, all of them linked by a hive mind that can be accessed at any point to draw up information as needed. They serve a vital function within the guild, and any abuses against them are swiftly dealt with.
