Darlene is another orphan from the faeries destruction of human villages, and was raised in an orphanage. It shut down when she was in her late teens, and she turned to less savory ways to make money after attempting to be a pickpocket. She was a prostitute for a few years to make money before Carter Roe helped her get a more stable job working at Trinity Delegard's tavern. She eventually joined the expedition to figure out what was wrong with the Woods and fell in love with Princess Cordelia Norwood.
