Ilene is against fast fashion, so she has some steady, comfortable clothes that she wears on rotation in her day to day wardrobe, with some nice pieces, and only plurges on designer when an old piece wears out or for presents such as birthdays or Christmas.

The only really prominent "scar" is a strange marking in the center of her sternum that spiders out, so faint now with age that it nearlys blends in perfectly with her skin tone, which is a byproduct of the magic used to save her life.

The Parker family resemblance is fairly obvious once all three are stood side by side, especially between the sisters; but Cynric and Faina take after their father; Ilene is the odd one out, and that is because she is a carbon copy of their mother.

She also looks young for her age, often being mistaken as being in her teens still rather than a young woman going for her master's degree. It's a curse all three siblings share.

Ilene is amazing with computers, both hardware and software, and likes to joke that if she were an Esper, her powers would be technomancy. For a while she wavered between going into a tech field or going to school for social work, and opted to go for her mother's career instead.

Ilene has a mild case of Thalassophobia, or the fear of deep water, that she has been trying for years to overcome. For a long time she also had Aquaphobia, or the fear of water in general, but through work and therapy she was able to overcome that. The Thalassophobia is now mild because it no longer impacts her day-to-day life, and she can be near to deep bodies of water without a panic attack, but she is still uncomfortable and will not step foot in any body of water that looks as though it can come up past her waist.

Ilene was born Ellesmera "Ellie" Parker - but she has no prior memories of her birth family. She was 3 years old when she was taken from them; her memories are hazy and essentially non-existent aside from a strong feeling of dread and feeling her lungs fill with water.

The group who stole her away from her family as a cost to saving her life changed her name to Ilene Donovan upon sealing the contract - clever enough to hide their tracks in the stealing, but not clever enough to be inventive, as Donovan was Adelaide's maiden name.

Her documentation ended up separated when the group was destroyed and the children liberated. The half of the paperwork concerning her birth family and Adelaide's contract with the group would eventually, over the years, end up in the hands of the Trinity Mafia.

The half of her paperwork concerning the new life the group invented for her under the alias of 'Ilene Donovan' was the only documentation with her when Akiko rescued her and the others and was accepted as the truth, as Ilene was too young to remember anything different than what they had been spoon feeding her. Ilene Donovan was then changed to Ilene Cybele upon her adoption.

Ilene has known she is adopted her whole life, but has never had any strong desire to seek out or reunite with her birth family. She knows she has two siblings - it had been included in the relevant medical history that had been created for the Ilene Donovan persona - but their names weren't listed, and her birth certificate only listed 'Adelaide Donovan' with no father.

She has recently discovered that part of this reticence comes from the magic used to save her life; to make extra sure the child would not actively attempt to return to her family or her mother once she was old enough. This has faded over the years and is no longer in effect... but until Ilene found some credible link to find her birth family, she was content to stay put with the family she has now.

Probably plenty in and out of the Cybele household over the years, but she doesn't have any that can be considered "hers" at this point.

July 10th. She is 13 months younger than Faina.

Technically born in the area around Snow Haven, Alaska, although no one knew this until recently. Her forged birth certificate listed a hospital in Juneau.

Ilene has had the benefits of an excellent education, and she has always done phenomenally well in school, although she's had to focus and carve out good study habits to keep her grades up. She graduated with honors as Vice President of her high school class and received her Bachelor's in Social Work after completing the 4 year program. She is currently in an accredited graduate program to receive her Master's in Social Work and hopefully be able to enter the same career path as her mother Akiko.

Ilene stumbled across her birth family [by doing xyz thing with her birth mother's name, haven't decided exactly what yet] and the engagement announcement popped up for the first time as some previously undigitized records had just been uploaded. This led her to try searching her suspected father's name, which popped up in a police database as a cold Missing Persons cases (closed as the missing thought to be deceased), and listed the surviving benefactors as Adelaide and her three children. Ilene searched the first child on the list, Cynric, and his name popped up as a closed case file in the database for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that had been misarchived.

She does more sleuthing to pinpoint a possible location for him, which happens to be in Snow Haven, and sets out to find him for answers.

Ilene is an Aware Human who has been raised in a supernatural family since she was 3 years old, when the group who stole her away from her mother saved her life.
