Kekoa turned away from the three excited Pokemon to look at Tiki and nodded, "Yeah, of course! I'm sure my Pokemon would love to meet yours!" While he was saying this, Glameow hopped back on his shoulder and Electrike and Skitty went to get acquainted with the other Pokemon that were already let out.

(Also, I got really inspired by this rp to flesh Kekoa out more so if you'd like to know more about him and his adorable team, check out this link–https://www.notebook.ai/documents/96376. It also includes a bit of info on why he's scared of ice type Pokemon as well ^^)

@Exis

"By all means. I'm going to let the rest of mine out, too. Word of warning, they love meeting new trainers and pokemon," Dallas responded, reaching for her bag and opening it with the words, "Come on out, team." Her Chimchar excitedly hopped down to greet Espeon, Sneasel, Gible, Mawile and Helioptile, the final of the five instantly darting over to Ampharos, Dedenne and Elektrike to investigate the other electric types. Espeon and Mawile seemed more interested in Absol, while Gible and Sneasel were busy sniffing around the Glameow and Skitty. She looked to Tiki and said, "Lead the way!"

@LittleRiver local_movies

“Perfect, thanks!” Tiki said with a grin, taking out three additional pokéballs. With them came Chespin, Jangmo-o, and Growlithe.
Chespin looked quite insanely tired, Jangmo-o looked absolutely fired up and ready, and Growlithe seemed the most equanimous out of all three.
But, of course— to no one’s surprise— the little dragon pokemon so happily crawled over to Electrike and Skitty, letting out friendly little chirps.
Meanwhile, Chespin nearly fell face-down to the pavement before Growlith caught him, laying him down gently afterward. Tiki just let out a short laugh, shaking his head.
“Yeah, Chespin is tuckered out,” he explained, crouching down to scratch Chespin’s head. “It’s because he was up all night watching my videos with Ampharos, wasn’t he?”
Ampharos nodded hastily in approval as Chespin just let out a small whimper.
“And— alright. Follow me, folks,” Tiki continued, glancing back to the trainers. With another polite smile, he began walking down the lengths of the sidewalk, picking up Chespin on his way to cradle the little grass type in his arms.

Electrike excitedly greeted the electric type Pokemon while Skitty swished her tail back and forth wanting to play with Sneasel and Gible. Glameow on the other hand, stiffened at the sight of the Sneasel and let out a cautious hiss before stepping away to warn her trainer. Kekoa noticed Glameow coming back to him and looked past her to see the ice type. He quickly became nervous and scooped Glameow back up. After she was back in his arms he tried to get as far away from the Sneasel as possible.

@murphysgirl

"I'll let my team out at the Pokémon Centre," Madyson said with a smile, patting Absol's head. "You've already met Absol and Dedenne, but I have four more. C'mon, let's go!"

@Exis

Sneasel looked a little put off at Glameow's hostility, but quickly moved on when she saw Skitty was open to playing. Dallas noticed Kekoa's reaction when he saw the dual type, but refrained from asking about it. Instead she made sure to walk between them, calling the rest of her pokemon to follow after her and Tiki. Espeon walked right at Dallas' heel while Helioptile and Chimchar walked with the electric types. Gible was following after Absol, now, daring to approach closer and closer to the fluff on her legs. Dallas stopped momentarily to pick up Mawile, seeing as the pokemon had the shortest legs out of the bunch, but quickly returned to her place between Kekoa and Sneasel.

Kekoa kept his gaze facing forward, holding Glameow close to him. He kne that not all ice types were bad but…Sneasel was also a dark type, dark and ice didn't seem to mix well in his head. Glameow kept a wary eye on the Sneasel, her tail swishing back and forth. It looked friendly enough, Skitty was getting along with it, but Glameow couldn't be too sure yet. Meanwhile Skitty and Electrike slowly drifted back over to Kekoa, still playing with their new friends along the way. They had picked up on Kekoa's nervousness and they wanted to stay close to protect him, even if they didn't know what was bothering him.

@murphysgirl

Absol, whose horn was somewhat sensitive to emotion, brushed softly against Kekoa before hurrying to catch up to Madyson.
"The Pokémon Centre's just around this corner," Madyson said, turning and pointing. "There it is, see? I'll go ahead and ask Nurse Joy if we can use the field." She hurried ahead, backpack bouncing against her back; Absol stayed with the group.

@LittleRiver local_movies

“Wonderful, thanks Madyson!” Tiki called after her, smiling down to the Absol afterward. He was truly fascinated by the pokémon— clearly Absol wasn’t one he had seen too often.
Ampharos seemed to be too overwhelmed by all the pokémon and the trainers, staying by Tiki’s side and making those happy little purrs in regard to them all.
Jangmo-o was going bonkers, so happily jumping alongside every pokémon she could. Growlithe stayed so steady by Tiki’s side, chest puffed like he ran the place. Meanwhile, Chespin was so fast asleep in Tiki’s arms, pins drooping down as he snored.

Trying to distract himself from his fear of the ice types, Kekoa shuffled over to Tiki with a small smile and cocked his head, "What Pokemon are you using for the battle?" He inquired, curiously. Glameow seemed to calm down a bit now that her trainer was trying to distract himself, she could still tell he was nervous so she got down so she could watch the Sneasel and make sure it didn't leave her sight. The other two Pokemon were still playing.
Electrike really seemed to like the Absol so he raced around it and Skitty bounced around with the Jangmo-o and occasionally waved her tail at the Growlithe.

@LittleRiver local_movies

“Probably Growlithe. Besides Ampharos, he was my first pokémon. Of course, I don’t fight often, but with biological advancements, the pup’s a strong one,” Tiki replied in kin, nodding to Kekoa. As he heard his name, Growlithe glanced up, but soon went back to lock his gaze straight forward. He seemed to mean business, all calm and collected with his head held high.
“What about you?” he asked Kekoa, smiling down to the Glameow as it hopped down.

Kekoa gestured towards Electrike, who was very excited that Absol was playing with him, "Electrike. He's my main battling Pokemon. I don't battle much either but Electrike isn't that far away from evolvingclose and I'm trying to get him to learn Thunder Fang, so I want to use today especially." Skitty had now put her full attention on Growlithe, she was determined to break his focus and get him to play with her. She waved her tail in front of him and bopped him on the nose.

@LittleRiver local_movies

Growlithe’s nose twitched, and he looked down to Skitty with duller eyes, still holding his posture as high as he could.
“Electrike, huh? My mom had one when she was a girl— he belonged to her parents,” Tiki replied. “I’ve always loved electric types, but Growlithe just forced himself onto my team with that pride of his. Not that I’m complaining, though. He’s a wonderful, dapper little friend. Even if he is too proud for his own good.”

@Exis

Dallas set Mawile back on the ground, who immediately walked over to Espeon to watch the more energetic pokémon run around. Meanwhile Helioptile wandered over to investigate Growlithe, while Gible watched in dismay as Absol ran after Electrike, leaving the dragon/ground type behind. Sneasel noticed Glameow watching her and tilted her head to the side questioningly, before Chimchar promptly bumped into her. Sneasel growled warningly at Chimchar, who apologetically shuffled back with wide eyes. Sneasel seemed to smirk, and then the two pokemon were off chasing each other.

"Sneasel, don't tire yourself out too much, I'm relying on you for this battle," Dallas called to the pokémon with a smile.

Skitty flicked her tail in frustration and backed away from the fire type. Glameow watched what was happening in amusement as Skitty came charging back full force and tackled Growlithe.
Kekoa giggled softely at Skitty's antics before responding to Tiki, "I get where you're coming from. Glameow is somewhat like that. She's not incredibly prideful but she forced her way into my life after I first met her in Sinnoh." Talking about Glameow made Kekoa happy but the way they had met reminded him of the nearby Sneasel. He let a small, quiet sigh and frowned briefly.

@murphysgirl

"Absol here was my first Pokémon," Madyson said happily, patting Absol's head. "We've been best friends for as long as I can remember. She lived in the woods behind my house when I was little, and when I was old enough to be a Trainer, I caught her." She chuckled. "I still haven't gotten my starter Pokémon from Professor Sycamore. He keeps teasing me about it. We're close friends, as I'm helping him research Mega Evolution."

@LittleRiver local_movies

Growlithe’s cool demeanor hitched for a moment as he shook Skitty off, standing upright once more. Even so, he seemed to look quite impressed, actually granting Skitty his attention. His nose twitched as he leaned in, giving off little playful growls like Skitty had somehow earned his friendship.
“Yeah, I think it’s wonderful when the pokémon find you, huh? Of course, I bumped into Chespin a while back, and Ampharos kind of just tagged along my whole life. Jangmo-o… well that little rascal was a tricky one. He helped me out with some studies for a while before I asked him to officially come with me,” Tiki responded, gesturing to each one as he said the names. Chespin was still sound asleep, cuddled up into Thomas’s shirt. “But, surely he challenged me before he’d go into a pokéball. So Growlithe and I showed him what we could do.”

@Exis

Dallas turned her attention to the other trainers and offered a soft smile. "My first pokemon was actually Espeon. She was an Eevee back then, but we've had lots of time to get to know each other. Three years, actually. Isn't that right?" she asked the psychic pokemon. Espeon rubbed against her leg in affirmative. The trainer turned to Madyson and seemed to remember something. "Did Nurse Joy say it was alright to use the battle court?"

Skitty bounced in delight, happy that she had made friends with the Growlithe. She bumped her nose lightly against his and then clonked him on the head with her paws and ran off, challenging him. Glameow gracefully stepped out of Skitty's way, watching her play. Electrike sniffed at Gible curiously, he'd never seen a dragon type before.
Kekoa turned his frown into a smile, happy that the others were continuing the conversation, "I never got a starter because I had Glameow and I decided that I didn't need one." He glanced at his three Pokemon, "I met Glameow in Snowpoint City over in Sinnoh," His eyes darkened before he continued, "Electrike came running at me and Glameow when we were done with a contest in Hoenn, and Skitty came from an egg that I got here in Kalos!"

@murphysgirl

"Oh! Yeah, Nurse Joy said it was okay. C'mon, Absol! Last one there's a rotten Exeggcute!" She raced ahead after them, backpack bouncing against her back, hair streaming out behind her. Absol followed.

@LittleRiver local_movies

Growlithe chased after Skitty with all the speed he could muster, but every movement still seemed so heavily calculated. Tiki shook his head, still absently petting Chespin.
The boy looked like he was about to reply when he was cut off by Madyson’s challenge. Never one to turn down a good race, he tucked Chespin tightly to his chest, called to the rest of his team, and began bounding off. Ampharos didn’t seem to be much of a … runner, his little tail bobbing as he waddled his way behind Tiki.
