(I play pokemon go, but not much. I’ve been too preoccupied with playing sword and shield on the switch that that’s where all my free time has gone lol. Also, night guys :D)

(I play Pokemon GO a lot! I also play Pearl, Y, Ultra Moon, Shield, and Let's Go Eevee!)

"Is something wrong?" Dallas asked at the trainer's sigh, petting Chimchar's head as he climbed up onto her shoulder.

Kekoa laughed, "I get where you're coming from, my other two Pokemon are nuts all the time. They're sweet but they have no self control." He patted the pokeballs that were attached to his hip with a smile.

@Exis

Dallas grinned, poking Chimchar's cheek. "Same with mine, although some are slightly more energetic than others," she added as the fire type poked her back. She seemed to pause for a moment, then asked, "Do you guys want to have a battle? I'd like to buy an energy root while I'm here, but I think there's a pokémon center not too far away with a court we could use. And if all four of us are up for it, we could have a double battle."

"Sounds good to me. I'm not super experienced in the battling field but I would like to get a bit better." Kekoa gripped the pokeball that contained Electrike, his best battling Pokemon.

@murphysgirl

"You up for it, Absol?" Madyson stroked the Pokémon's silky white fur, and Absol purred in response. "That means yes! Let's do it!"

@LittleRiver local_movies

“Absolutely,” Tiki chirped happily. “And… w-would you guys mind helping me with my experiments? I have some berries that have already been tested, but I’d love to see how they work with the heat of battle. They act as just basic power-ups, if you’re interested.”

Deleted user

"Sure! Electrike isn't very picky so I'm sure that'd he would eat just about anything." Kekoa paused, "And even though Electrike is my best Pokemon for battles, I don't usually do battles so he's still quite weak. I bet the powerups would help a bunch."

@Exis

"Awesome." She clapped once, then hummed in thought at Tiki's question. "I'm sure Helioptile would love to try one, but I'm afraid I was planning on using a different type of pokémon. If it's safe, though, you can test it on him after the battle," she promised. "Oh, I'll be right back!" she added, remembering the energy root again. She walked back to the table and grabbed a good-looking root, then went to the counter to pay. Thanking the shopkeeper and stifling a laugh at the glare being directed at Tiki, she turned back to the group. "Are you guys ready to leave now?"

Deleted user

"Yup, I'm good to go." Kekoa responded and picked Glameow up. "Okay Glameow, you ready to go?" The cat Pokemon nodded and purred. Kekoa turned back to the others and said, "I'm going to go ahead and go outside so I can let my other Pokemon out to stretch their legs." With that he walked to the door and let Skitty and Electrike out. The two ran around in circles excitedly.

“Oh— I don’t just have electric berries. I have some for all kinds. But I’m still trying to work on one for.. water types,” Tiki mumbled, looking over to Dallas. “Their genetic composition is just… so difficult to work with. But I’m trying.”
He looked over to Ampharos, who was too busy gazing to Chimchar with those wide, curious eyes.
“Well, bud, ready?” he asked, the Ampharos barely even focused enough to respond. “You’re gonna be our ref, ‘cuz today I’m gonna let Growlithe show her moves. How ‘bout it?”
At the name of the familiar fire type, Ampharos finally looked up, smiling jovially to Tiki.

@Exis

"I can see why," Dallas agreed, thinking fondly of her mother's Vaporeon. "Although I'll still have to pass on the berries during battle, unfortunately. I'm training with one of the newer additions to my team for the upcoming pokémon contest, and items aren't allowed there. My offer still stands for afterwards, though," she told him with a smile.

"Let's meet Kekoa outside and I'll pull up my map. Unless you know where the pokémon center is?" she added as an afterthought, recalling the familiarity between Tiki and the shopkeeper. It'd make sense if he was a local.

@murphysgirl

"It's this way," said Madyson, pointing. "And I don't suppose you'd have a spare berry for Rock or Fairy types? My Carbink and I have been training very hard, but I still don't feel like it's performing to the best of its ability. But if you don't, that's fine." She smiled.

@LittleRiver local_movies

“Oh, totally. I can lead you guys there, too,” he said, voice tinted with that excited charm. He tapped Ampharos on the shoulder before he walked away, stalking to the doors. The pokemon waddled after him frantically, nearly skipping. “And, sure, I totally have fairy types. Those were probably my favorite to make.”
“Mind if I take out my team, too?” he asked, after stepping through the doors to address Kekoa.
