"It's a card game. " she said simply

"Like poker?" Jona asks curiously?

"No… Not exactly"

Jona smiles.

"Teach me how to play?"

Eve looked a little surprised " oh I don't know about that it's already late in the day and I don't know where my cards are. "

"Tomorrow, then?" Jona asks hopefully.

"Yeah sure I don't see why not. " Eve replied with a soft smile

Jona chuckles.

"Thank you. Now, why don't we go to bed. It's a bit late."

"Right.. Yes, you have your blankets right? If you need anything just yell I'll be right up stairs and I'll come down here okay? "

Eve smiled back before patting his leg and standing up "thank you, goodnight I hope you sleep well out her jona. " and with that she left the room heading up to her room and getting changed before crawling Into bed

Jona waits and listens, anticipating, hammering out the details of what it would be doing.

Slowly, it stands up.
Quietly, it walks upstairs.
Carefully, it lifts Eve up.
Quickly, it transports them to the old castle north of town.

It laughs to itself as it sets the young woman in a cell and locks it, letting Eve gather enough energy to survive her ordeals.

Eve had been asleep until she no longer could feel the comfort of her bed slowly she opened her eyes only to be greeted by darkness she must have been dreaming or she was just confused she sat up feeling the cold concrete against the bare skin of her arms and and legs "H-hello? "

Nothing greets Eve. No noise, no sight, no smell. Jona itself was long gone.

Eve's heart was beating frantically and she stood up and felt around her for something anything until she felt something cold… metal is was rough felt as if it was rusty and that only scared her more she went around the cell until she realised what it was "im in a cage" her voice was so quiet and frightened she could barely understand what she had said 'eve it's time to wake up please wake up.' but she was already awake and she wouldn't feel the comfort of home for a long time

The metal bars shift slightly. They were moving, shifting, wriggling, on their own. Cold tendrils of metal started to snake around Eve's hands. A sinister presence pervaded the room.

The blood in her veins ran cold as she heard the grinding of metal against metal and she moved to the center of the cage her breathing was frantic and she brought her hands to her mouth to keep from making any noise

Rip, kill, eat. . . Human is close, I want flesh, blood, marrow. . . a voice says. It sounded wet and sluggish.

But Master says no. . .Cannot disobey. . . But oh, the sweet smell of her is so close. . . Surely it would not mind if I took a little nibble. . .?

Eve let out a pitiful sound when she heard the voice tears stinging her eyes eve you have to wake up, 𝙀𝙑𝙀 𝙒𝘼𝙆𝙀 𝙐𝙋 𝙉𝙊𝙒 Her mind was screaming at her, god please please let this be a dream 𝙋𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙎𝙀!

A whumpf! and an angry shriek marked the exit of the creature and its foul presence, replaced by a more familiar aura.

"You're awake." Jona says, sounding casual and cold. It sounded nothing like the kind person Eve had met.

Eve gasped at the shriek backing up a little "j-jona? What's going on where are we??"

A light snaps on, barely illuminating anything but giving enough light that Eve would be able to see.

"We're somewhere we can't be find. Where you won't be heard." it says, his tone still cold.

Eve stood there confused for a minute letting her her eyes adjust to the sudden bright light "what did you mean, jobs this isn't funny get me out of her now. "

"No. I don't want to." it smiles.
