"So then birdie is a no go? Got it. Sorry about that, just thought I would try something out see if it worked, maybe try and cheer you up. I can see how much it didn't work though."
He put a hand on his neck before holding his hand out to her,
"I'm Wynn, your Dove right? That's a really pretty name." He offered a smile as he spoke, waiting for a handshake though if she didn't shake his hand he wouldn't care that much. He just wanted to make sure to have there just Incase.
Aaaannndd he hasn’t left yet. She hesitantly took his hand and shook it slowly. “Um… nice to meet you, Wynn. Thanks.”
She took a deep breath and tried not to feel so guilty and sad. Since he hasn’t left, it would be better if she just tried to get herself together.
“Oh, and this is my friend Ash,” she said, letting go of the boy’s hand and gesturing to the satyr. Ash raised a hand in greeting, but not much else.

(The picture is just a picrew image that I did some editing on.)

He nodded, shaking her hand before pulling away after she let go.
"oh hey ash, it's nice to meet you." He smiled at the satyr as he held a hand up in awknowledgement. He seemed like he might not be doing well, or just tired so he didn't bother him much.
"so, If you don't mind my asking, what's got you upset?" He asked, and like he totally didn't expect her to tell him but he was just wondering if there was some way she did and then he could help that way.
"I'm uh…." they began "Ashby" They reached up into one of the cupboards of the infirmary and pulled out an unused camouflage sweater and a pair of grey joggers. They didn't match in the slightest. They looked back at Adin tentatively. "Hey, uh…" they started "I'm not sure how this works" they continued under their breath before gathering the courage to finally ask "Do you, um, wanna be friends? I just… you're nice?"
"hm so that's your name then? I think I'm gonna stick with cherry hair, but hey maybe one day I'll call you your name." He grinned at them, waiting for them to be finished getting dressed before continuing the conversation.
"Friends? Why of course! I would love to be friends you with Cherry hair." He genuinely smiled at Ashby.
Wendi felt the air around her fill with Mist as she attempted to disappear. She couldn't keep her eyes off of the Apollo table and she felt horrible about how Dove was feeling. She really should go over and explain herself, but she just couldn't. So instead she instinctively tried to hide herself from the rest of the world.
“Nothing,” she said immediately, “What makes you think that?”
If she had to tell him, she might start crying, which would make the situation all the more awkward. Besides, he was a stranger. Why did he want to know?
At this point she could hear the other Apollo kids muttering to themselves, wondering why a Hephaestus kid was talking and hanging around the Apollo table. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Wendi fading in and out among the Hecate table, and some of the pain returned. She immediately turned her gaze back to Wynn.
Nicolas strolled into the mess hall without a care in the world. He grabbed his food, offered his blessings, and sat down at a table furthest away from where everyone else was gathered. He was more of a loner. He kept to himself. He didn't do well with others. It didn't bother him though, being alone. It was better that way. He felt like he just about ruined every relationship he tried having. He always found a way to sabotage it. Thanks mom. Better to be alone so he didn't hurt anyone.
Astrid entered the mess hall and grabbed a plate of food, scraping a portion into the fire and heading to an empty table. She made a point to avoid the Aphrodite table. She'd never been fond of them, considering how self-centered most of them seemed to be. She sat down, pulling her jacket tighter around her shoulders as her gaze traveled across the mess hall.
"Well I happened to see you walking in and over to a table and you didn't exactly look or seem happy, so I wanted to just check in and see if you were okay, and hey if I could make a new friend in the making why not give it a shot. Well, that is if you want to be friends," he put a hand on his neck with a slight chuckle.
"I don't want you to feel forced into anything." He shook off a weird feeling in the back of his Brain.
(I know the thread title says all are welcome, but I feel more comfortable asking— may I join please?)
(I'd say so yeah, I'm one of the co-owners btw, but If you want to wait on yellow then that's cool too)

"Friends? Why of course! I would love to be friends you with Cherry hair." He genuinely smiled at Ashby.
They smiled, both at the nickname, and at their newfound friendship. "I uh… I like it." They mumbled "Well, uh, we should get heading to the mess hall" they continued, glancing at the clock on the wall of the infirmary "Oh! I think… we might be a little late. We should hurry" they began rushing off, waiting for Adin to follow.

Godly Parent: Aphrodite
Weapon(s): A light pink shield, the edges incrusted in purple and blue crystals.
Powers (if any): The power to charm speak
Appearance: Azriel is 5'11. He is skinny and lanky, the only small amount of muscles he possesses are on his upper arms, he has a slim waist and pale skin. He has slim defined features, a a thin nose, square yet soft jawline, strong defined brows, plump pink lips and a beauty mark on the left side of his face, right above his upper lip. Though Azriel thrives off sarcasm and humor as his main conversation tool, sometime he will stick to just kind words to do the job. He is seemingly confident and self loving, but is deep down self conscious and always anxious, from his anxiety disorder.
Short Backstory: Azriel was sent into the foster care system when he was five years old, after his father, his only living relative died in a car crash on the highway. He bounced from home to home for the span of eleven years before finally deciding to run away, the terror of the reality of what goes on terrifies him. He made his way to camp half blood from Georgia, where his current foster home was
(yooo Azriel looks cool!)
(thank you, and what's even more coincidental is that I made him based off being a half blood, like he literally was a half blood to begin with, nothing has changed since I made him over 6 months ago)
(Go ahead and hop in wherever)
Azriel stumbled into a tree, sitting atop a hill which looked like it shielded a strawberry farm, he bent down in exhaustion and took deep breaths, focusing on the ground. When he looked back up the strawberry farm was gone, and instead in its place, looked like a summer camp.
he looked around in a confused daze as if he were dreaming and read the sign aloud "Camp Half-Blood." He muttered to himself, then began to go into hysterical laughter. "What a freaking day." He muttered to himself quietly through laughs and grabbed his stomach, as it began to ache from the hysterical laughter shooting from his mouth.
(can I join with a tiny child?)
Charon was waiting at the sign, safe behind the barrier, waiting for their new addition. He had heard whispers that a new camper would be joining them today, gods hinting at a child. Who his parents was, remained to be seen, but Charon knew it would take long until he was claimed.
"Welcome, child, I am Charon. I oversee Camp Half-Blood. What is your name, demigod?" Charon would allow his cabin to give him the crash course if he was claimed soon. If not, he would be passed to the Hermes cabin until such happened.
Azriel looked up at Chiron and smiled a devilish smile, his trademark smile; really. Honestly, how weird could this hallucination get? A half horse, half man? I mean come on! You have one wild imagination. He thought to himself, then stuck his hand out, his lips giving a goofy grin.
"I didn't know I was a demigod." He said truthfully wow! And you're a demigod! This dream hallucination couldn't get better! He thought and his smile grew even bigger than before. "But i'm Azriel, Azriel Dezerase. Nice to meet you Chiron, may I please be showed to the bathroom? I really, really, really have to pee, I've been holding it the entire time it took to get here." He said with a slightly embarrassed, sheepish grin. He did actually have to pee, but he also needed some privacy so he could figure out if this was a hallucination or not, and also admittingly, not have a panic attack.
