Maia's eyes shot open as someone set her down. At first she tried to sit up, but soon found that she was still to week. so instead, she wiggled a bit to get more confutable, and then lifted her head to look around. The first thing she saw was a young man, maybe sixteen, with wavy brown hair and hazel eyes. He was standing over her as if he was protecting her from something. She figured that he was the one who had carried her in from the snow. The second thing she saw was lots of people and food. Ava looked back at the man with the hazel eyes and taped his arm. "thank you." she said in a tiny voice.

you like it?" He leaned forward a little as they spoke to hear them better. "Well then I'm glad that you like it." He grinned slightly as he moved to walk with them towards the exit, "Ah shoot, you might be right." He muttered as he began rushing along with them but not looking all that concerned about it.

I knew it.
He knelt over her, quickly studying her. She smelled like a nymph now, as her scent had been muted from the snow and distance. He saw her shiver, so it didn’t look like she was completely unconscious.
“Lillian, what are you doing here?" he muttered. "You should be hibernating."
Ash took her in his arms, holding her close so she could really feel his warmth. After looking back to the mess hall, he hesitated. Nymphs were usually pretty skittish of humans, and bringing her inside would probably only make things worse for her. After a moment of thought, he had an idea. He moved away from the mess hall, going towards the pond instead, silently apologizing to Dove all the while.
“Lilly, can you hear me? What's going on? It's gonna be okay, I promise."

She curled in towards his warmth, curling into a ball as she leaned against him. The warmth helped her conscious slightly return enough for her to respond.
"Mm..A-ash..?" She looked up, recognizing his voice just barely. She moved to uncurl slightly In his arms, showing her lily pad, and how it wasn't doing very well.
"H-had to move…h-humans.." she mumbled out towards him as she held her lily pad close to her chest again, trying to keep it safe.

He moved over from looking at Amelia back down to the girl he brought in and offered a smile at her.
"it's no problem, i couldn't just let you freeze out there now could I? Do you want me to get you some food or drink?" He asked, thinking on how she might be hungry or thirsty, she looked extremely tired.
He moved to crouch down so he could listen and talk to her as needed.

She smiled. "yes please." her voice was shaky, and she struggled to control it so that he wouldn't know the truth in his words. Agin she struggled to sit up, and this time she did, but in the process she put her hand into the fire. She let out a little gasp and quickly hid her hand behind her back with out looking at burn that was most definitely forming, so as not to worry the kind man. Ava gave a small smile to distract herself from the pain.

They rushed to the mess hall, which people were already trickling out from. "A little late" somebody laughs as he walks past them. They scoffed a bit looking back at Adin. "I guess we are" they walked into the mess hall and sat at the Dionysus table, but their eyes still followed Adin. He was their first friend in a long time. When the nymphs came with food, they only took a small plate and ate quickly. They wanted to make it to the campfire in time. Every few seconds though, they glanced at their new friend, who began to the Hermes table.

@Tired-but-passionate

Ash's eyes widened when he saw the dying lily, their pupils turning into horizontal slits. He moved faster towards the lake. "Lillian– you–"
She should be dead. He felt a rush of emotion at the fact that she had managed to stay alive this long, which made him tighten his grip on her. Slowing down, he reached the lake and sat down on the shore, positioning Lillian in his lap. The magic of the camp kept the lake from freezing over, so he hoped this would be a suitable place for her to stay.
"You can stay here if you can," he said. "Just a moment, you'll be okay."
Reaching into his coat pocket, he pulled out a reed pipe and held it to his lips. He blew a soft melody, cast a spell of healing on her and the area around them. The snow melted away, and fresh grass sprouted from the ground. After a minute or so he stopped, the area around them now looking like summer rather than winter.
"Do you feel better?" he asked.

Adin ran with them grinning all the while before hearing someone comment "Ah come on your a little late on life!" He yelled back at them as mostly a joke, before waving at cherry hair and heading over to the Hermes table with a plate of food himself, well he looked over at noticed Ashby looking over and he signaled a wave over at them as he shoveled food down his throat.

"Alright then food it is, try and rest okay? You don't have to get up and go anywhere right away, you can just stay here and get all toasty." He smiled at her, moving to go and leave towards the food table, his own stomach grumbled but he really didn't feel like eating still, he moved to grab a bunch of food from the table and a cup for her with some water. He moved to walk back over to her, and sit next to her.
"Here, some water and some food." He didn't know if she had the strength to hold the plate so he just kinda held it for her infront of her.

Nicolas' eyebrow raised even further as the girl waved at him. No one waved at him. He wasn't the most friendly-looking person. His fingers played with rings on his fingers, watching the girl, even as she focused her attention on her meal. He was intrigued now. Not enough to compromise himself by trying to form a relationship of sorts. But at least enough to want to watch from afar. For now at least.

(Do I sense bonding in the future?)

He was still staring, she could feel it. She stood and left the mess hall. Might as well find somewhere quieter. She stepped into the snow, pausing to glance back at the boy before heading off into the snow covered trees.

(Perhaps you do, lol)

Nick watched her get up and leave. Good. That was the best alternative. Best he not get any smart ideas, like trying to approach her. That wouldn't go well for him, he already knew it wouldn't. So he just sat back and went back to eating, focusing on himself once more.

@PastelTart

Astrid stood still, trees and snow all around her. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, cold air filling her lungs. She smiled and looked up at the falling snowflakes . She'd always loved the cold. After a moment she heard voices from the direction of the mess hall. The campfire. She'd almost forgotten, though she wished she could just stay in the snow forever. Would anyone notice if she didn't come back? It's not like I have any friends here anyway. Still, she trudged back through the snow, heading toward the campfire.

(I saw. I'm at work atm so I don't have time for a lengthy response. If I get a break I promise I will. But if u wanna go ahead and just jump into the mess hall you can do that too!)

She moved to crawl from his lap, and over to the lake and gently placed her lily in it after giving it a gentle kiss, it slowly drifted into the water and sunk its roots into the water slowly growing and adapting to the new water source. She let out an exhale, and layed back against the beach sand letting the water brush against her. She moved to crawl back over to ash and leaned against him, hugging onto his arm. She seemed already doing better as she leaned against him and clinged on him. She let out an exhale, "I missed you…" She mumbled under her breath but ash could probably still hear it.

He watched the lily take root, a small smile growing on his face. She would be alright.
Ash hugged her close, reaching for her hand and clasping it affectionately. “I missed you too. But you need to sleep, Lillian. I don’t know how long this magic will last.”
If she didn’t hibernate, she would become weak from the winter and wouldn’t be able to manifest in her humanoid form and… he wouldn’t be able to see her when spring comes.

Meanwhile, the Apollo table started talking about the songs they wanted to sing around the campfire. Dove listened to her siblings somewhat; she wanted to be up to date, but she felt too tired to sing. She saw Wendi again, who seemed to stopped fading from existence, and tilted her head at her, asking a silent question.

@ShadeStar

Wendi caught Dove's look and let out a slight sigh before giving Dove a little nod. She was fine, and maybe she was finally ready to talk. She didn't want to go over to the Apollo table, it was too loud and happy over there, and instead gestured for Dove to come join her.

She just clung tightly to ash, holding onto his hand, she didn't want to let go again.
"I-i…I'm…not used to hibernating without my mom…i-i got scared…and them- t-them the h-humans showed up..and I had to run…and they wouldn't stop chasing me.." she sniffles, hugging onto his arm and him as tightly as she could.

Ava grabbed the fork and stabbed a strawberry. She lifted it to her lips and took tiny nibbles. Ava ate three strawberries before she put the fork down and looked at the man holding the plate. "thank you." she began, "my name's Ava by the way." She reached for the glass of water and almost dropped it, but caught it with her burned hand before it hit the ground. She took a tiny sip and looked around to avoid making eye contact.

Dove blinked, then hesitantly stood. Her friend looked better than before, and surely it had nothing to do with her, but she was still afraid of messing up somehow. She took a breath, then went over to the Hecate table.
“Um, hey,” she said softly. She wanted to say more, but couldn’t think of anything that wouldn’t be awkward or out of place.
