She just clung tightly to ash, holding onto his hand, she didn't want to let go again.
"I-i…I'm…not used to hibernating without my mom…i-i got scared…and them- t-them the h-humans showed up..and I had to run…and they wouldn't stop chasing me.." she sniffles, hugging onto his arm and him as tightly as she could.

Ash squeezed his eyes shut at her voice, her sniffling. “It’s okay, they’re gone,” he assured. “They’ll never hurt you again. I’m sure the naiads will watch over you while you hibernate.” He paused to open his eyes, and look back to the direction of Half-Blood Hill. “Where’s your mom?”

She felt the tears pool up in her eyes as he mentioned her mom, she felt them run down her cheeks, warming up her face, she burried her face into his chest.
"s-she…s-shes…gone….t-the h-humans they…" She just continued crying into his chest as she thought about her last moments spent with her mother, her mother telling her to run, to flee away from the humans with the gift Demeter granted her.
She didn't know what else to do, so she just sat and cried in his lap. She was still scared…she didn't want to go to sleep, and not wake up again..

@Tired-but-passionate

He looked back when he heard her crying and wrapped his arms around her, cupping the back of her head with one hand. Ash rocked back and forth, trying to comfort her. He was struck speechless, he couldn’t comfort her with his words. It was so horrible what humans did. Anger and sadness for her swirled in him.
“I… I’m sorry.” He honestly did not know what else to say. “That’s really horrible…”
His gaze drifted, and he spotted a few naiads peeking from below the lake’s surface. The pretty girls seemed to have sense the new nymph’s presence. Ash gestured for them to not interrupt, and they seemed to grin to each other. He scowled at them, then returned his attention to Lillian.
“Lilly,” he murmured. “Do you just want to stay like this? I can keep reviving the magic when I need to… and soon you’ll be completely healed. But you still need to sleep, alright? It’s not good to stay awake for long, in this season…”

Azriel looked up at the centaur gazingly and smiled a toothy grin. "Honestly, this place is awesome." He said truthfully "but I don't have any spare clothes, the only thing I have is the clothes im wearing, and this." He said pulling a small pink crystal out of his pocket "my dad always told me my mom left it for me, I've had it since I could remember to hold onto it." He added, proudly, he wasn't one to remember things, but he had managed to keep the pink crystal safe for half of his life.

He nudged the grass with the tip of his shoe "i'm missing my mom, but I think you're sadly mistaken, my dad said she died in childbirth." He explained, his brows scrunched close together in confusion. "I don't think that im a demigod, but you're the centaur, so I guess you must be right, though I dont which goddess she would be." He added quietly, pictures of his mom that his dad has kept framed in their house when he was little flashed through his mind. His mom, Asian with beautiful hazel eyes and slim features, her long wavy black hair that reached her middle back, her skin milky and pale, but smooth, her beauty mark in the exact spot as his. These thoughts caused him to sigh. "Lead the way I guess." He said to Chiron, giving his best attempt at a smile.

Chiron nodded. "We will get you some more clothes. And if that's who I think that stone belongs too, you will have plenty of clothes. The Aphrodite cabin prides itself on always having the up to date fashion choices. You'll be fine." The centaur led the boy over to the mess hall. "Believe me, you wouldn't be here if you weren't a demigod. No mortal can cross into Camp Half-Blood."

As they reached the mess hall, Chiron said, "Go grab a plate and fill it with whatever you would like. Pick a table to sit at. Everyone here is friendly, well, most of them."

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

Ava grabbed the fork and stabbed a strawberry. She lifted it to her lips and took tiny nibbles. Ava ate three strawberries before she put the fork down and looked at the man holding the plate. "thank you." she began, "my name's Ava by the way." She reached for the glass of water and almost dropped it, but caught it with her burned hand before it hit the ground. She took a tiny sip and looked around to avoid making eye contact.

He just held the plate for her as she ate the strawberrys from the plate her got.
"Of course, and your welcome. My name's Wynn." He smiled at her, he was about to grab the glass as it fell but then saw her grab it.
He then noticed the burn and frowned, "What happened to your hand..?"

@The-Dyonisia group

Ashby had finished most of what was on their plate and rushed to the fire to spill some food into it. "Thanks for… being gods?" They sighed "I never know what to say" they began to leave the mess hall, heading to the campfire, which they assume had started already. They never really participated, but they did like to watch the fire. One last time, they looked back at Adin and smiled.

Ava looked down at her hand trying to come up with something to say. "Um… I burned it." She stated meekly, and tucked it into a pocket on her coat. "It's n-nothing really. Ava shoved a peace of meat into her mouth so she couldn't say anything more. She looked around again, this time noticing the people. They were all about hight school aged, and they were all wearing orange T shirts with the words 'Camp Half Blood' on them. She saw that a few of them were looking at her. She put up her hood and pulled down her sleeves so that they covered her palms, and she began to eat again. This time not as daintily as before, because her lack of eating anything had seemed to have met up with her, and she was very hungry.

@ShadeStar

Wendi caught Dove's look and let out a slight sigh before giving Dove a little nod. She was fine, and maybe she was finally ready to talk. She didn't want to go over to the Apollo table, it was too loud and happy over there, and instead gestured for Dove to come join her.

Dove blinked, then hesitantly stood. Her friend looked better than before, and surely it had nothing to do with her, but she was still afraid of messing up somehow. She took a breath, then went over to the Hecate table.
“Um, hey,” she said softly. She wanted to say more, but couldn’t think of anything that wouldn’t be awkward or out of place.

"Um, hi," Wendi replied just as quietly. She took a deep breath before finally looking up at Dove guilt heavily present in her eyes, "Sorry for, um, avoiding you. It's just, this time of year you know?"

@Tired-but-passionate

Dove’s hand twitched in Wendi’s direction, but she pulled back. “Oh, uh, it’s fine, don’t worry about it…” she trailed off. “Yeah…”
She felt like apologizing for some reason. Shaking her head, she tried not to think about it. She had done nothing wrong.
“Um, is it okay if I give you a hug?”

@ShadeStar

Wendi hesitated for a moment before she nodded to Dove's question. She took a second before speaking again, "Yeah, um, it's fine. I'm really sorry, about earlier I just. I just couldn't really talk to people you know?"

"how did you burn it..? Is it a bad burn? How much does it hurt?" He moved to grab her burned hand to look at it, concern on his face, he then moved to pull out a cream from a bag around his hip and place it on the burn. "it'll sting a little bit, but it should help the burn heal." He smiled at her letting go of her hand, letting her get back to eating. He himself was wearing a sleeveless camp half blood shirt, he wondered if she had come from outside of camp. Well, of course she had but how long had she been without food or water? He looked around his eyes falling on Amelia but he immediately moved to look away, he didn't want to get caught looking at her. How the light from the camp fire made her look all the more beautiful.

Adin had looked over and saw Ashby, waving back at her with a grin before moving to pick up his food and give the rest of it to the fire as he put his tray away, and moved to sit by the campfire. He sat somewhere with an empty seat on one side of him and a Hermes kid on the other.

She just clung tightly to him, "I d-dont want to l-leave…I..want to s-stay..with you.." she sniffles, leaning into him. The fact of hibernation just seemed really scary to her, and she didn't want to leave his side.
"C-cant you just…k-keep the magic g-going w-when….I get weak? So…i-i don't have to sleep..?" She questioned, wondering if it was too much to ask, she looked away from him and loosened her grip, looking at her lilly pad in the lake.
She didn't want to be too much trouble..

@Tired-but-passionate

“I can… try…” he murmured, letting out a small breath. He could understand why she didn’t want to sleep. She was probably afraid of nightmares or being alone. But at the same time, he didn’t want her to get weak or sick. He hadn’t really thought about just using his magic to keep that from happening, but he also wasn’t sure if it was healthy.
“I mean, I could use a little practice with my pipe,” he said, trying to lighten the mood.

She waited until Wendi’s nod, then spread her arms and wrapped them around her. She at least hoped it would ease any tension or awkwardness that might come up.
“It’s okay, I get that,” Dove replied, then let go of the hug. “I let my feelings get the best of me. We don’t have to say anything else now, if you don’t want to.”

@ShadeStar

Wendi leaned into the hug, no matter how short it was and she gave Dove a grateful smile. She really hated how she was letting her emotions get the better of her, but there wasn't much more she could do, "Yeah, um, can we talk about this later? I don't really think I can right now."

@Tired-but-passionate

Dove returned the smile, glad she’d made Wendi feel somewhat better. Then she nodded, moving to sit next to her, not really caring it was the Hecate table. She crossed her arms on the table and laid her head, using them as a table. She let her eyes close, just waiting until they let them go out to the campfire. It should be soon.

Azriel nodded briskly and looked up at the centaur "are you saying the goddess of love is my mom?" He asked Chiron is complete disbelief. He took the crystal from his pocket and tossed it into the air. One, two, three and on the fourth throw it transformed into a shield, Azriel scrambled out of its way, and it landed with a loud thud where he had previously been standing. The shield was pink, matching the color of the crystal with a small blue heart in the middle, light purple crystals of all transparencies lined the outer edge of the shield, after a few seconds, the shield changed back into a crystal, in which Azriel shoved into his jacket pocket. "Well… I hate to say that isn't the weirdest thing to happen to me today" He said to no one in particular, giving a soft chuckle, once he was done, he looked up at Chiron "would you show me to the cabin I'll be staying in first please? I want to change before eating, or my siblings might disown me." He said with a small faltering smile.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Chiron nodded. "Of crouse, child, right this way." The centaur had certainly seen much weirder things at camp, this was nothing to him. Trotting along the path, he showed Azriel the Aphrodite cabin. It was certainly aesthetically pleasing, inside and out. It was well decorated but in moderation. They knew how to tone it down. There was such thing as too much. "Here is the cabin. You'll find a closet with plenty of clothes in it. Don't worry about sizes, they're charmed to fit the wearer. When you're done, head to the mess hall. You can't miss it, it's just right over there, " he pointed at it. "Eat some food and get to know fellow campers. Your cabin leader is Amelia. She's not hard to miss either. Find her, and you'll be fine."

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

All of the campers were eating peacefully in the mess hall, chatting with their friends and cabin buddies. Or they were sitting by their lonesome selves. Nonetheless, they were all in the mess hall. Each of them had no idea what was about to come. They all thought it was just another peaceful day, with the beautiful snow and forecasted white Christmas. All was bliss. Until it wasn't.

Black smoke appeared in the mess hall suddenly, sending the campers into a panic. No one could see anything. The black smoke engulfed them all. You could hear campers screaming, Chiron yelling over the madness, trying to get to the bottom of this. No one could enter camp unless they were a demigod or god. So who was it entering camp and what did they want?

Then just as suddenly as the smoke appeared, it disappeared. Standing in the middle of the mess hall, was a ravaged Hercules. The anger on his face seemed to scare many of the younger campers. The older ones had their weapons drawn if it was on them. Everyone was still trying to get their bearings from the smoke. And just because Hercules was a son of Zeus didn't mean that anyone trusted him.

Hercules began pointing at active campers who want to go on a quest. "My sons have been stolen from me," his voice boomed over the crowd, hushing the campers whispering, "You lot will get them back. They have been stolen by an Amazonian Queen by the name of Hippolyta. I have a map of places she might be. Bring back my sons and you will be rewarded. Fail to do so and you all will be punished."

And just like that, Hercules disappeared in another cloud of smoke. He was just another typical god dumping all of his problems on the children of gods. Campers coughed as the smoke cleared away. Hercules was gone but the map remained. All the children he pointed to etched closer to it, curious and frightened. What would this journey bring them? Would they all make it back?

(Anyone that doesn't want to go on the quest, I'm keeping Nicolas at camp if you wanna interact with him or anyone else that wants to stay behind. But because there are so many of us I'm not sure if we're all gonna get to go. The more demigods there are the more monsters they attract. We'll see how many are interested in going nad go from here but I may have to limit it.)

@EtherealDreamer

Find her, and you'll be fine."

Azriel nodded and turned his body towards Chiron, he bowed slightly before speaking "thank you Chiron, it has been my pleasure" he said, then ran into the cabin in what he called an attempt at a "quick get away."

Once inside the cabin, he located the closet, the inside of the cabin was charming, moderate and a phenomenal thing for his eyes to witness "woah" he said to himself and exhaled slowly, and semi shakily. "I can't believe people who decorate like this are my siblings." He added, looking around. Dragging his eyes along every minor detail. He looked at the beds in the cabin, all the walls above the beds were decorated, one of the bunks which contained nothing on the wall above it contained his pink crystal on the covers, he walked over and felt into his pocket, not finding the crystal where he put it earlier, he scooped up the crystal and found a backpack that looked just like the one he kept back in his foster home. "What the—?" he managed before his ears were filled with the soft whisper of a woman "Azriel" the woman whispered before her voice was gone, he searched the backpack, which contained personal items he left at home. He eventually set the things neatly on the shelf attached to the wall beside the bed the backpack had come on and went to the closet, he pulled out a pair of brown, white and black patterned pants and a white t-shirt, with a framed photo of a sunset in the middle. He went into the bathroom and got dressed, seeing that Chiron was right and everything fit perfectly and how he wanted. He walked out and pulled on a pair of long white socks and white high top converse. He looked in a mirror hanging on the wall and admired himself for a moment, he looked neater than he had for the past two weeks. He exited the cabin and made his way toward the mess hall, where small campers were looking terrified and the ones that looked the same age as him had weapons in their hands.

Azriel keep walking until he was standing by Chiron "what happened?" He asked quietly "why does everyone look so scared?" He asked, more loudly this time, looking around at the campers.

( here's Azriels fit the shirt is a bit different, but I just thought I'd include the outfit because im not really good at describing outfits–)
(also I think im gonna have Azriel stay— since he just got to camp and has barely had time to grasp the fact that he is a child of Aphrodite.)
