Modern-ish Fantasy

Lots of magic, lots of gods and lots of monsters.

The world of Gaeo was initially created by a goddess with the same name.

The technology level is somewhat modern. You have stuff like broadcasting and communication, but no internet.

Magic is a fairly loose thing that depends on the mage in question. All gods and mages have a certain type of magic they can use, but the way they use it may be very different. For example, two mages might have the same ability of cryomancy, but while one mage might use that ability via channeling their power through a weapon, the other may channel their power via their own body (i.e. dancing, martial arts, etc.).
