The Rune Tree
Deity of the Soundless Forest.
The Silent One, The Nameless Deity
The Rune Tree's true form is that of a massive tree covered in glowing runes of unknown origin. Its bark is a dull brown color and the trunk is covered in moss and other plants.
Occasionally, if it must meet with the other deities of Trita Forest, it uses some of its roots to create a magic golem, whom it then uses to carry out its will. These golems tend to vary in appearance, but all are humanoid, made of wood, and have glowing runes where a human's eyes would be.
In tree form, the Rune Tree is about 175 feet tall. Its golem avatars tend to range between 6 and 8 feet in height.
Nobody has figured out how to weigh The Rune Tree in its true form.
The Soundless Forest as a whole is considered a symbol of the Nameless Deity.
The Nameless Deity is most commonly associated with nature and Gaeo.
The Nameless Deity has managed to push out any and all sound from its domain. Even a thunderstorm is silenced in the Soundless Forest. This makes any expeditions through the domain quite dangerous without the help of the native Ellesh.
In addition to silencing powers, the Nameless Deity also has incredible nature magic. Even after a forest fire, the Nameless Deity can restore the domain in an instant simply by making trees sprout and grow rapidly.
Being a large and deeply rooted tree, the Nameless Deity is unable to leave its domain. If it must interact outside of the Soundless Forest, it must either forge a contract with one of the Ellesh (typically one from just outside the domain) or create a golem from its own roots to go out and serve its will.
To most mortal races, the Nameless Deity is apathetic at best and downright hostile at worst. However, it is much kinder to the Ellesh who live in and around Soundless Forest. As long as the Ellesh here take care of its domain, it sees no reason to force them out.
