Life Force Manipulation

Not all Soul Control magic requires controlling the soul directly. One Spell that falls under this blanket term is the manipulation of the Life Force flowing through the body.

To do so requires a similar setup to Soul Viewing, in that a bridge of life force is formed between the caster and subject. Once this is done, the target's life force flow may be slowed, sped up, or stopped, sometimes with the effects localized to specific parts of the body if the caster is skilled enough.

If life force flow to a particular body part is halted, the most immediate side effect is pain, followed by a host of other symptoms depending on the area affected. Increasing life force flow to an area, however, can be used to heighten sensation, promote natural healing processes, and even combat certain diseases.
