By nature Drax is even-keeled under pressure, but typically, left to his own devices, he avoids risky scenarios. He would tell you that's how he's survived in the scene he partakes in for so long, but it takes people like Razor to pull him along in their wakes to push Drax to his full potential.
Drax is a skilled pilot, especially at the helm of larger crafts such as the ones manufactured by the Karapashi. He is also a fighter who has a keen handle on his own strength, which far outclasses many people he comes across.
Drax is a weaponry enthusiast—he owns, maintains, and restores a wide collection of weaponry from a variety of planets of origin.
Drax has a rather dry personality but is not altogether humorless; however he does prefer to remain devoted to business above all else. He remains calm, cool, and collected through even the most stressful scenarios.
Drax's overall affect is gruff and abbreviated, and he doesn't typically respond to things in a very dramatic way. By the nature of his species, his face is not very expressive. Those who know Drax well understand that he has an expressive vocabulary of many different kinds of scowl.
As a mercenary and somewhat of a businessman, one of Drax's biggest motivators is money. A deep-seated thirst for adventure motivated him off-world in the first place.
Drax was born and raised in the Karapashi spaceport town of Varekkah. From a very young age, Drax took any number of odd jobs around the bustling town, learning much about the operation and upkeep of spacecraft in the process.
When out and about, Drax is often seen wearing his heavy leather longcoat, in the interest of both keeping warm (as a Karapashi Drax is accustomed to much higher temperatures than most worlds have to offer) and protecting his exoskeleton from the elements.
In the past, Drax left his life on Karapash to join the Miscreants, eager to explore what kinds of adventures the stars had to offer and motivated by the promise of ample riches should they find success.
For a number of cycles after that, Drax piloted the Maverick, a Karapashi freight carrier that Razor had commissioned to be retrofitted as an incognito mobile headquarters. In addition to piloting the ship, Drax often accompanied Razor on recon missions as backup muscle and intimidation force. Drax did double duty as the Miscreants' weapons runner.
Ultimately, Drax's time with the Miscreants was forced to come to a close when Razor suddenly decided to cut and run, robbing the outfit blind and fleeing into obscurity. After this, Drax turned away from the life of high brow crime to offer his services to the Hypercube Collective.
