Arcturus snickered. "Hey, I was trying to punch you in the face, I don't know where the firebomb came from. But it stopped the fight, sooooo…"
He glanced around as the sense of danger cranked up in the room, noting the hound's eyes glowing in the darkness, as well as the other occupants.
"How do you plan to make her stay, big fella?"
Bane was surrounded by a furious aura as he struggled to maintain control. "WILL ALL OF YOU SHUT UP! I CAN'T TAKE THE NOISE OF ALL YOUR VOICES!" The shadows burst, revealing Bane once more. "Nobody will live while you argue about how entitled you are. We're not going to make it out alive! You maybe accustomed to this cell." Bane rose to his feet and marched over to Sardoth. "BUT YOU!" He got close to Sardoth, putting his foot on his leg. "You better start adjusting to the other people around you, or *hell will come to you!" A low growl came from his throat, and the red engulfed his eyes once more. "You're making me sick!" He bared his teeth, showing his fangs and flicking his hand to show his claws.
Sardoth gets up, striding towards the elf. "If you wanted to punch me, you'd have done that. And if anything, it just pissed me off more."
He chuckles and casually swats the pirate, slamming her into the wall and knocking her unconscious.
Sardoth doesn't even move an inch, the heat building up. "You really think you should be talking like that, puppy?"
Arcturus tensed, and the metal on his arms started to flow towards his hands and coalesce. He lowered his voice, and ignored the big man for a second. "Hound, you got a name?"
His attention was pulled away by the loud thud as the big guy swung at the girl. The metal on his arms immediately sped up, forming two short, curved swords, engraved with Elvish tengwa.
The voices were so loud, the bodies so smelly and sweaty. Now that they had food in their belly and had slept a little, Nix was restless. Their tail swayed, their paw scratched the floor. They cast a brief glance at the lady’s shiny arms again before turning to the door. They climbed it, and hung from the lock. Using a clawed finger, they began picking at it. After a few moments, they tried straight up gnawing at the lock. Briefly, they wondered, how did these people remember what happened before they got thrown in here? Nix did not remember at all. Their skin shivered with dangerous change in the air and the sound of thudding and weapons being unsheathed.
Sardoth smiles violently, relaxed even as the elf's swords materialized.
"You think you can take me?" he asks, the danger and violence getting close to critical mass.
She flew across the room and slammed into the wall with a loud grunt and thud. She cried out when she hit the wall, trying to get back up off the ground as her vision blurred, she eventually collapsed on the floor sprawled out.
Arcturus kept his eyes locked on the big guy. He could feel the threat simmering in the air, and as usual, it made him feel alive. He crouched slightly, and kept his voice low.
"No think about it, you literal Cave Troll." He twirled the blades. "Come and see."
One of the guards headed towards the cell, a little bit of red tuft hair peeking out from the Helmet as the keys jingle on his side.
He let out a sigh as he looked in the cell, well what can you expect? Tho i want exactly expecting this outcome…
He moved to stand next to the cell door.
"You guys going to tear each other part or are we going to get out of here?"
He spoke softly.
As Sardoth rose, Bane stumbled backwards, his nose crinkling. "I think I can talk like that because you're a mortal, and I'm a dog from hell!" As Sardoth approached Arcturus, he grabbed his arm and dug his claws into it. "Think before you act, sir" He let go, watching the blood specks drop. He took cover near the elf before Sardoth could do anything in return, the red in his eyes remaining "It's Bane." He muttered quietly while licking the blood from his claws. "My urges are difficult to suppress." He seemed to be apologizing for injuring Sardoth before Arcturus could react. Bane was doing his best, but sometimes his best was to use violence to solve problems. It had gotten him places in the past, but that was the past.
(ok, so this brings me to a question about the mechanics of combat in this? Cuz we could all just tank or dodge the other's hits forever and no one would win, unless we decide who wins or something similar. Thoughts??)
(I shrug Honestly, I may have gone a teensy bit overboard creating Sardoth in the first place. I'm not entirely sure what'll happen, considering the dude got transported to Earth canonically and it took a whole 9 yards of ammo from a machine gun to slow him down. I nerfed him for this by a lot, so it should theoretically be possible to potentially kill him. Beating him by choking him might work? The elf's swords would do some damage. As for Bane. . . out of all of them, he might be able to overpower Sardoth if he gets caught off guard. But as it is, I purposefuly made him into what basically ammounts up to a titan. I'm willing to have it be unstoppable force meets immovable object. It would certainly give Sardoth a reason to respect Bane and Arcturus.)
(Arcturus is not unbeatable, but Elves fight Cave Trolls and Dragons both. Usually in groups, but he also has magic backing his actions. Could be a relatively even fight? I dunno)
(We could also go the random choice option. like use pickerwheel.com or something)
(And I don't think he's overdone, you've created a Very cool character. I just think super one-sided things get boring after a bit, ya know?)

(I'm not sure either. And, Sardoth is completely human in this RP. But in the actual stories? He's an Ascendant. Overpowered and huge, each and every single one of them.)

(That's fine. And probably not, considering the lock is tungsten. Tungsten in particular since it'll slow down anything that wants to try and break it. Besides, say, an elf, if the elf tried hard enough.)

(oh for sure, hilariously one-sided situations can be very comical, but as a form of roleplay, it can be difficult to figure out what to do other than cower XP )

(I mean yeah, that tends to work in o/o fights, in my experience. Ig you just have to consider all the factors that might inhibit and benefit your character’s fighting chance, then go from there)
