(I grin I'd suggest going with a character that's likely to be at odds with the others normally. I'm working on my character even as I'm writing this, so you'll see who I'll be playing very soon.)

Name: Sardoth Dragonheart
Age: 60
Gender: Male
Race/Species: Human
Personality: He is a rowdy, loud man with a passion for drink and violence. He's generally friendly and amicable despite this. Despite his age, he isn't gross. He can be quite rude at times, but that's to be expected. He has a soft spot for exceptionally spicy food. If you want to be his friend, fight at his side and watch his back. Or just fight with him. He prefers to settle disagreements with his fists.
Appearance: He's about 7'3" inches and weighs about 320 lbs. There's no fat at all on his body; he's straight up muscle. He has a rugged face, with a strong jaw and eyes the color of amber. His left eye is milky, and a scar stretches from his left temple all the way down to underneath the right side of his jaw. His skin is the color of bronze. His hair is cropped to a half an inch of his skull and has, for whatever reason, retained all of its bright fiery red color.
Powers: Has a tolerance for heat and fire that rivals a dragon's, as well as a dragon's strength. He can't use magic at all, and in fact doesn't want to try and learn. He's a well known master of fists, blade and hammer. He's graceful and light on his feet, despite his age and size.
Other: People call him the "Stone Wall of Theran" because for the past 30+ years he's defended the capital of the nation singlehandedly. Despite this, he's a regular of the prison due to his tendancy to cause problems for business owners, shopkeepers and the military forces of friendly nations. He wears a suit of adamantine full plate whenever he leaves the city, and weilds the legendary Dwarven warhammer, Dokksthulfn, in one hand, weilding a tower shield nearly as tall as he is in the other hand. It is said that he's responsible for the calamity that sank an entire nation beneath the waves, but he won't talk about it.

Name: Emerse "Stubs" Fizbom
Age: 21
Gender: female
Race/Species: human
Personality:very free spirited, strong willed and very stubborn, she will see through any visions she has through any means possible, very determined and excitable and extroverted.
Appearance: photo
Powers: she has ability to control the wind and air around her.
Backstory: Emerse came from a family that didn't have much but pride and their loyalty to each other. Her family stressed the importance of sticking together as there was nothing more precious than family. Due to Emerse's excitable nature it often landed her in trouble which more often than not her family had to save her from. Emerse didn't mean to cause trouble. She just often acted before she could give what she was doing any thought. Unfortunately this excitable nature of hers would land her in more trouble than her family could handle. Emerse was out looking for something to eat, hunting for some food for her family. She saw this large stag that was enough to feed her family for the next week and she got excited. She aimed carefully for the kill and well, she succeeded. Unfortunately it just happened that the prey she chose just so happened to be the prey of a young noble and his hunting party as well. When they found their kill had been stolen from them they were infuriated and threats ensued. Emerse, fearful that they may hunt down her family if she made her way back home, she grabbed the stag and made a run for it in the opposite direction. The weight of the stag slowed her down easily, making it easy for the hunting party to catch up to her. They grabbed her by the arms and she was caught. They thought an excellent way to punish her was to drag around by a rope attached to one of their horses. As Emerse was being dragged along she got the bright idea to grab onto a tree with her legs and well, as the horse was moving so quickly…..the sudden jolt of force would rip her arms clean off and well, Emerse was free…and in an excruciating amount of pain. She had to get away though so she did her best to make a makeshift wrap so she didn't bleed and kept running in the opposite direction of home. She couldn't go back and put her family at risk. She needed to find a new home now…and a healer to stop the bleeding.
After the first incident she grew a distaste for the noble that caused her to lose her arms as well as a general distaste for most nobles. She couldn't do anything without any arms though. Not with ease atleast. She got lucky and was able to get a woodworker to make her her first set of prosthetics, so long as she helped them out a little around their shop to pay them back eventually. She agreed, a perfect place to figure out what her next move was going to be. Her first set of prosthetics were a tad stiff but they worked well enough. She started out with little acts of rebellion. Knocking some fruit stands over, stealing some money, stealing a few crops. She was lucky she wasn't found out at first. Her actions began to escalate. She got her greatest idea yet. She snuck into the home of a noble nearby and stole a couple of their things. Then she got an even greater idea and well, next thing you knew she started a slave rebellion and freed a bunch of slaves. She fled before she could get caught and repeated this process until about 6 town's in she met her match. The noble in this town wasn't one to play around and things got serious quite quickly. A trap had been set for her and she had been caught, they wanted to give her a painful death for all the trouble she had caused. Since she already had no arms they went for the legs. They succeeded in chopping one leg off but was saved by the slaves who had caught wind of what shehad been doing in other towns and they helped her escape. During her escape she got shot in her other leg. It was doubtful any other healers in the area would help her as she was a criminal so, unfortunately she had to amputate her own leg when it started to get infected later on down the line. She was able to fashion herself some makeshift prosthetics using some of her knowledge from working under the wood worker, though they weren't the best.
She had to use a stick to help her get around as well due to the instability of her prosthetics and how long it'd take to get used to them. From then on she had to live on the run and eventually stowed away on a merchant's ship, hoping to end up somewhere people wouldn't constantly be after her head.SHE NOW HAS METAL LIMBS :D

Name: Nix
Age: 18
Gender: non-binary
Race/Species: goblin, specifically Kedol goblins
Personality: basically a cat and a raccoon combined. Quiet and watchful, balanced and graceful, but also mischievous and crafty. Doesn’t really care to use their words to communicate, but more so with body language and soft chitters or growls. They are very curious, both of the world and the beings that inhabit, including the treasures they carry. This curiosity and love of treasures and things that shine in the light makes them rather greedy, and they love to steal gold, jewels, anything they can get their hands on to hoard for themselves or to trade for something more convenient, like food and shelter. So really, they are like a cat, a raccoon, and a magpie all rolled into one.
Appearance: they are about 4’9, with a mostly slender frame and a round face. Their skin is a faded purple color, with a few pinkish-white scars here and there. They have bright blue eyes with dark turquoise sclera that seem to glow at night, cat-like and watchful. They have large, triangular ears, and dark, choppy hair woven into a braid. They have small horns, lion’s legs, and a lion’s tail, which are characteristic of Kedol goblins. Their mouth is full of small, sharpened teeth. They tend to wear a simple, worn tunic that covers their torso, and a small knife at their belt. This knife is a prized possession, for it was their first steal.
Powers: enhanced senses, due to their large ears and eyes. Their lion’s legs make them very speedy, despite their small stature.
Backstory: Nix is a thief, well-versed in pick-pocketing and heists alike. When they are young, they were raised by their father, but he left or disappeared, Nix isn’t really sure, and never came back. The little goblin was forced to fend for themself, and so they became a thief to get by. It wasn’t so bad, and Nix learned the way of the world. They even made some friends, but they eventually parted ways. Nix was happier on their own, anyway. They live in a small hole-in-the-wall in a small alleyway, where they stash their hoard.
Other: they are weak to fire, and is rather sickly from the polluted air in the community where they live.
