(Hhhmmmm…. Okay)
“We May be rivals, but both sides must still excist in order to keep balance,” He said to Shuri. He used her shoulder to support himself while walking back. “Now, I truly do wish to know what has transpired whilst I was unconscious, Might you tell me Shuri?”

Shuri sighed. "The number of casualties has tripled since the first night of war. Both sides have been weakened tremendously. Your whole battalion was spent last night, we are still searching for survivors. I still have yet to receive word from your battle ships. But the last I heard, the outcome was equally disheartening. Yet, her forces are in no better state. It appears we are stuck in a stalemate." she said.

@Meow

“That is to be expected from war, at least I, we, are alive,” Taking his arm, he brushed the flap of the tent open, stepping in with Shuri. He let go of Shuri’s shoulder and stumbled over to the cot. Enjoying the comfort of lying down, he spoke again. “Something has happened, I’m not sure what but I have my suspicions, help me remove my armour,” Even though he did not want to sit up again, he sat onto the edge of the cot.

((Sorry I disappeared last night… I fell asleep…))
Shuri blushed slight but she obliged. She moved to help him take off his armor, moving slowly as to not harm his anymore. "My Lord, may I ask what we are looking for? Were you poisoned?" She questioned concern flaming in her soft blue eyes. "Shall I fetch the nurse?

Genesis was awake by the time she was placed on a cot in a tent. The atmosphere was filled with the warm scent of jasmine and vanilla. She knew this was a woman's tent. She winced as she tried to rise but, her wrists were tied, making the effort a little harder than necessary. A guard stood by the entrance and watched her. She looked him over. What happened? she thought.

@Meow

(It’s okay! Sleeping is one of the best things to do)
"I do not believe I was poisoned, be patient,” He said once he removed the last of his armour with the assistance of Shuri. He removed his undershirt and padding showing his bare chest. Hoping it were not true he looked to his heart center, forgetting his advisors presence for a moment.

Shuri's eyes roamed his body. He was magnificent. So well formed and hard as stone, he was chiseled perfectly and- She gasped and stumbled back. "M-my Lord! You've been marked!" She backed away slowly. "When did this- How did this-" Her breath caught as she turned away as she began to choke. The nurse rushed in to see what was the matter, but Shuri stopped her. "Get out!" she order.

(Kool, Aid)
He shook his head. “Last night, the end of our battle. She faltered, We fell.” The star, inked into the flesh. Inside the mark, a sharp yet flowing design of curls and points. He lay back down. “Check on Genesis,” He ordered.

Shuri looked back at him and clenched her jaw. She stomped out of the tent and moved to hers with rage. She wrenched the flap open and pushed the soldier aside. "Are you well my Queen?" she asked but there was nothing but venom in her tone. Genesis looked up at her and blinked slowly. She then slowly turned on her side and ignore her. A Queen's dismissal. "I will speak to your King, only."

@Meow

(I’m back)
Lien stared at the tent ceiling, hoping that Shuri would be nice to Genesis. Respect is still nessacery, even when dealing with the Light side. Genesis, Genesis, Genesis . . . “War is such a waste,” He muttered aloud.

Shuri scoffed. "Very well… but for your health I advise you check yourself. We have found something vile on his Majesty and have good to believe it is upon you too?" she hissed. Genesis snapped to attention and placed a hand over her chest. The aching had dulled but it still throbbed in her chest, echoing in the chambers of her heart. Shuri turned her back. "Go on, check." she smiled, but there was no kindness. Genesis sat up and removed her armor slowly. Her hands trembled as she untied her blouse and pulled the fabric away. There on her chest was a black star of swirls and jagged points. She cursed. This couldn't be real

@Meow

To busy himself while he waited, he started reorganizing his armour and setting it aside. The war was over, so he folded his leather padding and put it in the chest next to the cot. He spread the blankets evenly across the cot as well. It was nicer to relax in a clean tent, but he would need to clean himself as well. He took a damp cloth and started to wipe some of the blood off himself.

Genesis snapped her head back to Shuri. "I want to see your King, now." she demanded. Shakily, she stood up and move towards the entrance. Shuri went out before her. "This way…" she chimed. Genesis got stares as she went, her blouse opened and flowing in the wind. Her undergarment was black. She wretched the flap open and looked at him. Crossing her arms over her chest, she frowned. "You seem to be relaxed."

@Meow

“Is that such a bad thing?” He asked Shuri. Her arms were crossed and her mouth turned down in a frown. Genesis followed her in. He sat up, “How are you fairing Genesis?” He asked.

Both females ignore his questions. Genesis's eyes went down to his chest. To the Mark. "You were right…" She told Shuri. "This is quite vile…" Genesis could feel it now, the pulsing, the tugging at her heart. So close to him, it felt much stronger.

@Meow

“We bare the mark,” He stated. He shifted his position. Genesis’ hair curled around her shoulders, her eyes staring at him with hatred, and something he could not identify. The feeling in his chest returned, stronger, the mark feeling like it was on the verge of burning.

Genesis rolled her eyes. "Obviously…" she muttered. She looked into his green eyes and felt a burning come awake within her. She took a step forward as though she didn't control her body. "What does that mean….for us?" She asked, the same question playing in her mind. What did that mean for us?

Shuri watched the two. The way they looked at each other, the way they spoke to one another. It was obvious. They could not fight the Binding. They would not go to a priestess to get it removed. The scent that omitted from the of the was dark yet warm. Like smoke from a fire amongst warm, spicy cinnamon. She stepped out of the tent and returned to her own. Deep breaths.. she told herself, Take deep breaths. It is unbecoming of a Lady to lose her cool…. She repeated these words, even as hot tears streamed down her face.

@Meow

“What do you think it does?” He asked, cocking his head to the side. She took a step forward, Shuri left the tent. “Hhhhmmmm?” Her hair swayed with the motion, lilac and white curls.

The pulsing turned into an exotic song in her mind. She took another step and then another, until she stood right in front of him. "It means nothing…" she steeled her gaze but even as the words slipped from her mouth, she knew they were a lie. "We could go the priest-" she stopped. His eyes… they were so hypnotizing… so alluring.

@Meow

She now stood in front of him. “You were saying?” Her hazel-brown eyes lost some of their coldness, his own eyes still glued to hers. He sat looking up at her, his heart beat faster.

Her hand lifted, she made to touch his cheek. A gentle caress, just for the feeling. The music grew louder in her mind until her eyes landed upon a smudge of blood. The blood she had spit on him. Her enemy, the King of Darkness. Just like that the spell was broken. She straightened, her eyes hardening. "We should go to a priestess and have her remove the Binding. We have no need for it. I have a kingdom to rule." She turned away from him. "As do you… Our… fleshly pleasures were never meant to be fulfilled. We belong to our people first and foremost." She clasped her hands behind her back in resolve. She couldn't help be notice how much like her father she sounded. Ugh… what would he think of her now? He'd be ashamed.

@Meow

Her hand was warm, like sunlight on a cool day. “I asked not to have blood on my face,” He said, picking the cloth back up, wiping her blood off his face. “And in case you have wondered about your sisters, they have not been killed. Yet.”

Deleted user

She looked at him over her shoulder. "What?" Her sister's were alive?"T-that's not possible! You had their crowns sent back to me in blood." She put a hand on her head, looking away. "That's not possible…" she mumbled to herself.

@Meow

“I’m not as evil as you think,” He said quietly. Looking down, he shook his head. Being the King of Darkness one would think he would be cold and merciless, like his father. But, like the Ying Yang, there is Light in the Dark, Dark in the Light. I’m not as evil as you think . . . He repeated in his mind.

Deleted user

She turned attention to him. If her sisters were really alive… She fell to her knees before him. She revealed her Seahl to him, the mark of her birth, of her lineage, as she bowed at his feet. At the base of her neck, a beautiful sun of ink, marking her as the Queen of Light. "I offer you a proposition." her said. "Release my sisters and take me in their stead…"

Deleted user

Her Seahl ((A tattoo of her rank and who she is. Everyone has one, if you are royal, it is either a sun or moon. If not, it depends on your trade. Ex: A blacksmith may have a tattoo of hammers.))

@Meow

(Kooool)
“How kind of you Genesis, but, wouldn’t you like to see them first?” He asked. It would hurt her people to see her not come back, but, the return of her sisters would make them perhaps, less sad. He would need to take it into consideration with Shuri, she would know what to do.
