(Das oki! Aslo, Kasey?)
Cameron walked over. “She’s never been stuck… Oh my god!” He pulled her out of the crack to show her tangled up in her leash, in the most painful position.

(Ugh. I have way too many characters, sorry. I'm not even doing that RP rn! What the heck, brain?)
Lilah gasped when she saw the puppy painfully entangled in her leash. "Let's get her out of there," she said, carefully reaching towards her to help.
(Tis ookiii)
Cameron set the whining, flailing puppy down on the mossy rock. “Lily calm down!”
(I've been kind of stalking this for a while but now it's official)
"Do you think she's okay?" Lilah asked, looking at the puppy.
Cameron frowned as he held the puppy fast. “I’m sure she’ll be okay.”
"Want help untangling her?" Lilah offered.
Cameron nodded, his frown still heavy on his face. “Just grab her leash there… and I’ll roll her over so that we can just lengthen it out to take the leash off.”
"Okay," Lilah said softly as she did what Cameron said.
Cameron sighed gently as they slowly detangled the puppy. “What happened, Lily?”
Lily whined and laid down slowly, shaking.
"Is there any chance you have security cameras around here?" Lilah asked. "Because if you do we could look at the footage."
Cameron picked the puppy up gingerly. “Umm… there’s one right there.” He pointed to an edge of a building far off. “But this area is cut off by that tree.” He pointed to a pretty willow tree.
"Hm. So there goes that idea…" Lilah murmured as she looked around. Turning back to Cameron, she asked, "You don't have cameras around the palace?"
Cameron nodded. “We do, but not towards this area. We have them pointing towards doors…” He pointed to a small camera outside the door and pointing to the doors.
(Pinterest is very distracting…)
Lilah hummed, nodding slowly.
"That makes sense. I wonder if Williams would know…" she mused.
Cameron scowled at a rock on the mention of Williams’ name. “I doubt it.”
"What? Why's that?" Lilah asked, giving him a confused look.
Cameron glanced up at her, his scowl fading. “Oh, it’s just… he might haven’t seen.”
"Oh… So who was watching Lily, then?" Lilah asked obliviously.
“I don’t know,” Cameron admitted quietly, feeling ashamed.
Lilah bit her lip, feeling as if she had asked too many questions.
"Sorry," she whispered.
Cameron shifted his grip on the gently shaking Lily. “That’s okay. Let’s go inside.”
"Yeah. Let's," Lilah agreed quietly, starting toward the door.
Cameron followed, petting the puppy. “We should get her some food, too, presuming she was like that for a while.”
"If you want to do that, I could take her to your room for you," Lilah offered, smiling a bit.
Cameron glanced down at Lily. “The food is in my room I think.” He smiled back up at Lilah. “So we can just go up together.”
"Okay, cool," Lilah said, looking down at the puppy for a moment with a soft smile.
(OWWWWW MY BACK OH MY GOD I WENT TO GO SIT UP AND MY SPINE (near the small of my back) lOCKED FOR A SECOND AND IT HURT LIKE EVERYTHING EVER WHY)
Cameron’s smile grew warmer. “Yes, would you like me to lead the way to my room? Or do you remember where it is?”
(Ohhhhh, ouch…)
"I remember. I was just waiting for you," Lilah clarified, smiling up at him.
(It’s been doing that for so longggg i don’t know whyyyy uuhhhhggggggg)
Cameron chuckled and joined her on the steps. “Lead the way, then.”
