"Nothing. You were just warm and you moved away, that's all," Lilah said, covering her real reason.
"Nothing. You were just warm and you moved away, that's all," Lilah said, covering her real reason.
Cameron hummed, yet not entirely sure that was the reason why. “Are you sure?”
Lilah shrugged. "I mean, aside from the fact that your butler keeps trying to convince you to stay away from me, yeah, I'm sure. You really were warm."
Cameron blinked at her. “If you’re so sure…” He sighed gently and relaxed into her.
"I suppose I should probably go home today," Lilah sighed without moving.
Cameron made a faint noise in unhappiness, his eyes drifting back closed. “Noo… stay here…”
"We've been sleeping all day, though, and I miss Lilac and my brother…" Lilah trailed off, annoyingly sticking her face very close to Cameron's.
Cameron awwed softly. “Okay, I understand…” He shifted, blinking open his eyes.
Lilah smiled a bit, still very close to his face.
"Maybe you could come with me?" she suggested.
Cameron let his gaze focus on her features. “If… if you wanted me to.” How close she was made him feel cautious; what if he had morning breath?
Lilah shrugged.
"I think it would be nice. You could bring Lily, and we could watch the dogs romp around the garden."
Cameron grinned a little. “That would be nice. I think Lily’d have fun too.”
(I hate my science curriculum. It doesn't explain math at all, and I'm in Physics. Physics is math.)
Lilah smiled. "Is it a plan, then?"
(Wow, that sounds terrible! le bless)
Cameron smiled back. “Yeah. Are we going now?”
(I got so frustrated. And then my English didn't make sense, so that didn't help at all… I literally had to go take a break to calm down. Which is why I'm here.)
"Now sounds good to me," Lilah agreed. "…but I'm warm…and comfortable…"
(Welcome to Calm)
Cameron wrapped his arms around her again. “It is extremely comfortable here… and warm…” He set his head down.
(Still not completely calm, but I'm getting there.)
"But… We really should leave soon," Lilah sighed, moving away from Cameron's face a bit.
(Um… welcome to Almost-Calm-but-not-Quite)
Cameron nodded, distinctly disappointed from the sudden heat change. “Alright… now we agreed, yeah? I can just pack some food for Lily and change then we can go.”
(Mostly tired and stressed. Lol.)
"Sounds good!" Lilah agreed with a grin, though she didn't move.
Cameron blinked. He wasn’t going to move first.
“So… are we ever going to get around to moving?”
Lilah shrugged. She had resolved long ago that she wasn't going to he the first to move.
"Actually, yes… I need to use the bathroom," she said, reluctantly pulling out of Cameron's grasp.
Cameron grunted. “Alright. I’ll throw some stuff on, then, in the meantime. The bathroom’s out the door directly to the right.”
"Thanks," Lilah chirped before making her way there.
Cameron rose out of the bed with a sigh, cracking his back. “Lily, what do you want, girl?”
Lily wiggled excitedly on the bed, borking.
Lilah finished what she needed to do and made her way back to Cameron's room. She knocked on the door to make sure she could come in.
Cameron looked up when he realized he didn’t do anything at all. “Oh, come in, Lilah.”
Lilah stepped inside and laughed.
"You haven't done anything!" she exclaimed.
Lily wagged her tail and borked, signifying Cameron hasn’t done anything with her either.
“No, I have not.” Cameron grinned.
"You should work on that," Lilah laughed. "I'll go back out again. Or turn around or something."
“Nah, I’ll just change in the closet.” He waved a hand. “Lillililililily!”
Lily thumped her tail on the bed with a bork.
