Tseth returns the mans glare. Lies come easy, but even so this one might not work. "I've always had it, no one bothered to ask. Didn't bother to use it."
Tseth returns the mans glare. Lies come easy, but even so this one might not work. "I've always had it, no one bothered to ask. Didn't bother to use it."
The man stays silent for a moment. He doesn’t seem to believe Tseth. Whatever. We’ll take it later. He sighs. “Fine. I have better things to do.” He steps away from Tseth, then locks the door to the staff room and the storage room. He looks back at Daphne and Salmook. “I better not see you snooping around again.” And with that, he leaves the main room.
Daphne just stands there, still leaning on the edge of the table. She stares down at the table, zoning out slightly. Her breathing is quick and shallow, and she’s still shaking a bit.
(Buddy your magic teleportation machine missed a knife cmonn)
(wheeze)
(a)
(sips tea)
(sshh it's late over here im dozing off-)
(one more reply and then I'm going to bed)
(crie)
(Sorry-)
Tseth puts away the knife and turns to Daphne. He moves to stand next to her, looking down at her concerned. “Daphne… it’s alright now. He’s gone.” How does Alex do this?
Salmook looks up at Tseth-friend and then back down to Daph-friend.
"We… we try explore! And see room with lot parchment. Try read them, and boom! Jabby-man!"
He shakes his head, calming himself back down.
"Me sorry, Daph-friend. Is my idea. No mean hurt."
Daphne snaps out of it and looks up at Tseth, startled. She shakes her head and buries her face in her hands for a few moments, trying to push memories back out of her mind. Stop it, you're fine. She crosses her arms and stares at the floor, not zoning out but certainly distracted.
(What what the fuck-)
(Sorry Null-)
(It's fine, it's fine, it's only 5 pages worth of reading to do-)
(sob)
(this is what happens when we're left unsupervised-)
(if it helps, about 40% of those five pages are just us yelling at each other in parentheses)
(Look I can yell at Liz in pms instead-)
(. . .)
(Ame, did you not think of that before now?)
(I’m stupid, ok-)
(I’m sorry-)
(she can yell at me wherever she wants)
(I'm sorry sweetheart- but like- I flick your forehead That's it.)
(. . . not when it cause 5 pages worth of dialogue options I could have just clicked through if it were anywhere else-)
(Now, how do I respond to all this?)
(Well if you are going to respond you may want to before we uh, decide to continue on again. No pressure, of course.)
(Apologies, but I can barely run my camera without overheating my phone. I'll figure it out tomorrow. I'm sore and tired.)
(Alright. No worries, and I hope you feel better tomorrow. Get some rest.)
Blaze listens from a decent distance as Daphne and Salmook are caught, already blurring into motion when Tseth beats her to the punch.
She freezes, then shakes her head.
I'll leave them be. They don't like me much anyways. . . and I guess I don't need them to. I will escape, even if it means slitting all of their throats in the middle of the night. she thinks, turning and walking towards the middle door, the one in between the weapons room and the room that seemed to be full of information about all of them, from how the staff member had reacted.
Tseth tilts his head at Salmook. “…Wonder what’s on them.” Information on us? On what they’re planning? That would be useful if it was.
He looks back at Blaze for a moment, watching her. Moving to the last door. He keeps an eye on her while glancing down at Daphne. He didn’t know how to help her, but he’d stay with her just in case.
The middle door seems to be the only one that was already locked. (Aka I’m lazy,)
Daphne goes to sit down on a chair nearby, fidgeting restlessly. At one point, she starts scratching at one of her arms, irritating the skin there a bit.
Tseth leans on the table with his arms propping him up. He looks over at Daphne and sighs the slightest bit. “You’re going to make yourself bleed if you keep doing that.”
