(a WHAT-)
(a WHAT-)
(You heard her.)
Salmook glares at her, still shaking with anger.
"Me… me think Salmook know."
Blaze nods, and carefully pulls out a knife, trying not to startle Salmook.
"I'll make one right now. Will that make a difference?" she smiles.
No matter how slowly and carefully a knife is handled, it's still a knife. Salmook flinches away from the blade, starting to shiver. He fluffs his cloak again, hiding more of his body, and he takes a step away.
"Mmmmggghhhh."
He makes a distressed groan, but otherwise, he's silent.
Blaze steps away from Salmook a bit, and places the knife to her palm.
"I swear on my blood that I bear no more ill will towards anyone of the people captured from their homes," she says, looking everyone in the eyes in turn as she slides the knife, quick and sure, across her palm.
(not me waiting until Liz is back online to respond to this haha this is fine)
Salmook doesn't want to look. He pulls his cloakhood over his head, and he can't bring himself to risk a glance back up.
"Salmook… no mean. No mean…"
It's pretty impressive how fast he's gone from childishly irate to downright terrified. He shudders, imagining the visual, and he rubs at his temples. He's just imitating what he's seen other people do before- there's a jankiness to his actions, like he's not too sure what he's doing.
"No mean… don't do that again. Nobody. Except for jabby-people. Give them all the ouchies and stabbies and blams."
(looks around)
(What is going on)
(I don’t know anymore)
(I lost track trying to wait for you 😔)
(Blaze did something stupid to gain Salmook's trust.)
(Fabulous)
Tseth watches Blaze as she cuts her palm. He wasn’t too sure how to react. The only time he slit his hands himself, it certainly wasn’t for a good purpose. He was somewhat hoping he wouldn’t be included in the hand-cutting. He wasn’t fond of the memories that would come with it. He looks down at Daphne, checking on her.
Daphne hasn’t moved an inch, shuddering when Blaze pulls out the knife and cuts her palm. She looks incredibly uneasy, and decides to stare at the floor instead of paying attention to Blaze.
Blaze grips the blade of the knife, her face set with a little pain and determination as blood starts to drip from her fist in thick red, nearly black, drops. It seemed way too thick, even, the drops collecting and falling like heated honey.
"I swear it," she repeats.
(Blaze is gonna need some flex tape for that)
(Eh, it'll heal in an hour or so.)
(Well yes but consider: flex tape)
(Besides, that stuff doesn't come off easy and there's the matter of where she'd get it from.)
(Sigh)
(the words aren't wording right now- I'm planning like five stories mentally and I think my brain is melting)
(just imagine salmook being a whiny brat in general distress-)
Tseth stares at the blood coming from Blaze's palm. Interesting… That's not normal. He couldn't think of much to respond to Blaze. He moves back over to his wall, sitting down on the ground.
Daphne looks up and quickly follows Tseth, sitting on the ground next to him and looking around. She watches Blaze for a moment before making a little bleh sound and staring at the floor again.
(Daphne rn is just)
(1. Find safe person 2. Be very very clingy)
(blaze managing to disgust everyone in one knife stroke-)
(tseth being fine with murder but a blood oath his brain short-circuits)
(Damn, you guys really are doing her like that after she made everyone a blood oath. /j)
Salmook gives a wavering groan as he turns away from the danger-lady. He's not inclined to trust her anymore than he already did. If anything, he just thinks she's a complete lunatic now.
Salmook strays away from her, edging back towards where the jabby-man disappeared to. It's that same room that had the parchments and scribbles and stuff. Interesting stuff. Interesting stuff that Salmook apparently wasn't allowed to see.
He raises a small fist and starts banging on the door.
"Let Salmook in!"
(Child no)
(Child yes)
(Child… maybe?)
