Rantaro couldn't help but blush at the kiss, although he definitely enjoyed it. After a couple of seconds, he kissed Kokichi back, smiling softly as he did so. While it left him a bit flustered, it was incredibly clear that he was also happy because of it.
Kokichi eventually broke the kiss, nestling his head under rantsros
Rantaro smiled softly as Kokichi did so. He held the other close to him as he continued to smile. He was happy with Kokichi. However, he glanced at Kaito after a moment, wondering if he wanted some attention as well.
"Kaito, if you want, you know that you can join us," he stated softly. "We're all boyfriends here, aren't we? It's not like I can't give both of you some love and attention at the same time."
“I- I know, I'm just letting kokichi get comfy”
Rantaro shook his head, letting out a small laugh as he did so. Sometimes he just didn't understand Kaito's logic. It seemed that Kokichi was comfortable with both of them there, so it only made sense that they could all cuddle. Besides, Rantaro wanted to cuddle with both of them at the time.
"I don't understand you sometimes," he replied softly. "Now come on. We can all cuddle, so how about we do that?"
Kaitl nodded, pushing down the shyness
Rantaro smiled softly as he held both Kokichi and Kaito close to him. He loved both of them a lot, and he wanted to keep both of them close to him. Holding them close couldn't have made him happier, and knowing that the two were happy made things even better for him.
"Aww, you're both cute," he smiled. "Seriously though, I could cuddle with you both all day. This is nice."
“Thens lets cuddle all day “ kaito whispered with a yawn at the end
Rantaro nodded and held the others closer to him. He noticed that both of them were rather tired, but he didn't mind. If they were all going to be cuddling that day, it wouldn't be difficult for them to relax and get some sleep. In the end, it seemed like the two needed a day off from school, a day to just relax, spend time together, and be happy without having to worry about much.
"Huh, you seem tired, Kaito," he noted. It was still a bit strange in his mind since the other was so energetic, but he wasn't too concerned. "Have you even been sleeping at night recently? It'd take a lot to wear you out, so I have to ask. If you haven't been sleeping, please get some sleep."
“I'll be fine.. Just, been worried bout ko..”
Rantaro understood the concern, but it upset him that the other hadn't been taking care of himself and continued to ignore his problems as if they were nothing. Surely he could convince the other to get some sleep, though. He was determined to do so, actually.
"I get that, but you need to sleep," he said softly. "Kaito, please. Ko's fine now, so please get some sleep. Maki's gone, so he's safe. You need to sleep…"
Kaito didn't argue, he just sighed and kissed rantaros forehead
Rantaro smiled softly at Kaito's actions before standing up. As much as he would have loved to continue cuddling, he figured that the other two were getting hungry, as it was about noon by then. He thought that making the two some food, as well as some for himself, would be a pretty good idea.
"So, I'm gonna make something. What do you guys want?" he asked softly. "I'll make just about anything."
“ grilled cheese” kokichi yelled happily

Rantaro couldn't help but laugh softly at Kokichi's excitement as he suggested that they have grilled cheese for lunch. Of course, he didn't mind that, and as long as Kaito was okay with that, he decided that he would make some for the three of them. Besides, it was something simple, so he could get back to cuddling with the two quickly.
"Alright," he responded with a grin. "Kaito, is that okay with you? If so, I'll start making some!"
“ sure, sounds alright”
Rantaro nodded in response as he went to the kitchen so he could make some food for the two of them. He was definitely glad that the two agreed on something, and it was rather simple at that, so it seemed like they would all be able to cuddle with each other not long after. All in all, while the day had gotten off to a weird start, it truly was a good day.
After a few minutes, Rantaro came back to the room with everyone's food. He handed the other two their plates and then sat down next to them on the bed.
"Enjoy," he smiled softly as he sat down. "I'm sure that you'll like it."
Kokichi nommed on his sandwich happily as he nestled into rantaro “it's great.” he said softly
Rantaro gave the other a grin in response as he began to eat his food as well. Kokichi was definitely right; the food was certainly great. Of course, it was just a grilled cheese, so it wasn't difficult to make or anything, but the fact that the others were enjoying it was a good thing.
"Glad that you like it," he replied as he looked at Kaito. "Do you like yours?"
“Yeah,” kaito said softly, he wasn't talking much, but Kaitos head was still running over maki and her plan
Rantaro noticed that Kaito was being oddly silent at the time, and it concerned him. Something was definitely wrong if he was being as quiet as he was. Just being tired definitely wouldn't explain the almost complete silence from the typically energetic and talkative Kaito. Something was wrong.
"Kaito, something's on your mind," he stated softly. "What is it? I can tell that something's bothering you from how quiet you are right now. Please just tell me. I'll help you."
“I- I can't really.. I'm sorry..”
Rantaro sighed softly. Kaito keeping a secret like that was strange when Maki wasn't around. The only person who was a danger to him wasn't there, so why was he being secretive? It just didn't make much sense. Something was seriously wrong.
"Kaito, Maki's not here," he assured the other. "What's wrong? Please, just tell me. I want to help you…"
“ taro.. Please”
Rantaro shook his head. While he didn't wish to be annoying by pressing into things, he wanted to know what was going on. All he wanted to do was help before Kaito could continue to suffer from whatever was going on. He was concerned as it was, and not knowing would only keep him concerned.
"Kaito, please, you're safe now…" he assured the other. "You can tell me…"
“ I don't wang kokichi to die!” he yelled
Rantaro sighed softly at the comment. It was such a random comment to be made. Maki was out of town, so why was that still an issue at the time? Whatever the reason, it concerned Rantaro, and he wanted answers. Aside from being curious about it all, he wanted to know what was going on.
"He's not going to die," he assured the other softly, remaining calm despite everything. "Please remember that. I'll stop Maki from doing anything."
