Devon just closed his eyes, blushing even more, "SHHhh"

Osiris whined slightly. “Alright…” He shut his mouth, looking at the ground sadly. “I’m sorry.” he couldn't help but speak. He didn't want to get yelled at, but it was his instinct to talk. It was a way to break the silence. He learned that from a young when his uncle and dad fought over the stupidest shit.

"I didn't mean litterally I just…you are making me flustered and I can't think" he muttered, rubbing his arm awkwardly.

Osiris shifted uncomfortably. “Alright… sorry. I didn’t mean to obstruct your thinking, mon amour. Uncle said that phrase around my aunt before she was murdered. After my dad died, he didn’t bother to teach me anything new. He spent all his time teaching Bane French and fighting moves.” He shook his head. “I miss my dad.” He drew his knees to his chest.

"m-mon amour means..my love…." he muttered, blushing more and covering his face with his hands.

Osiris smiled sheepishly. “I–I am sorry. Maybe I shouldn't speak at all. It would be better for you if I didn't speak. What if I left for a little so you can think? Does that sound okay?” He tried to get Dev to remove his hands from over his face. He looked around nervously wondering what he could do.

Devon lowered his hands, his face bright red as he looked off to the side, "I um..d-dont leave…Osie." He smiled at that name, he figured it would fit for now.

"It's a cellphone." Lis chuckles, pulling it back before Bane can poke it.

"I was saying you aren't like him! I'm showing him to you so that you'd be able to see that!" she smiles.

"Hey, I'm not silly!" she laughs.

"I know. . . maybe after we've delt with all these assassins after us." she sighs, pointing behind her. A loud BANG resounds, and the bullet gets stopped by Lis's finger. She flicks it back into the shooter. "Like him."

"No need to protect me with your life, just protect me." she murmurs.

She grins. "You seem excited by that thought."

She moves her finger up a little, tracing the edges of his lips with a playful smile. "Your face is what makes you cute."

Naize crawled into banes lap fearfully

Osiris smiled at the name. “I like it. And I won’t leave since you don’t want me to.” Osiris felt Dev’s cheek with the back of his hand and giggled. “You’re burning hot. I’m sorry, but it’s so flipping cute!” He laid her head on Dev’s shoulder, staring up at the sky.

Bane looked at it with curiosity. “What’s a cell phone?!” He grabbed for the magical rectangle as Lis pulled it away from him. “How does the magic rectangle know where to find these pictures? And how does it work?” He looked at Lis with a bashful smile. “I guess I don’t know much. What can I say, I am technically a shut-in.” He looked at the picture closely. “Alright, you get a free pass. You’re right, I am not like that. I am cuddly.” He booped Lis on the nose. “You are very silly. You’re denying it, like how I denied being cute.” He turned his head after hearing the bang, glaring at the clearing behind. “I forgot assassins were after us. It’s been quiet for days. Well…quiet since my dad attacked.” He shrugged, lifting his head high. “I’ll protect you no matter, but it seems you’ll always be protecting me. And yes! I like the idea! It would be super cute to have matching necklaces!” He started giggling when she traced the edge of his lips. “Hey, that’s ticklish! And my face isn’t cute. Look at Naize.” He petted the bobcat in his lap. “Her face is cuter.” He stretched and winced. “I need to go on a walk. My muscles are stiff.”

Devon blushed even more at being called cute, "thanks…osie…" he muttered.

Osiris smiled. He was Osie now. “I like you. You’re super adorable.” He got up and picked up Dev. He spun the demon around to emulate a dance, though it was just Osiris in control. “You’re welcome..” He though about an appropriate name for Dev. “Mon ange!” He set Dev down and looked at the moon. “I think I’ll call you clair de lune for moonlight. Or maybe just stick to moonlight.” He smiled and hugged Dev, laying his head in the crook of his neck.

“Naize! That tickles. Kneading my leg won’t help my muscles.” Bane picked up the small bobcat and held her in the air. He smiled at her. “Do you like collars Naize? Or maybe a necklace. Maybe it can help us keep track of you. You seem to disappear a lot. And I mean a lot.” He giggled and put the cat down. “Can’t risk loosing you kitty.”

Naize kneaded the air, tilting her head at him and sneezing.

Bane smiled at the kitty. "You're adorable! That little sneeze was so cute." He put his hand down in the grass to see if she'll play with it. A little beetle crawls onto his hand and he looked at it disgustingly. "I hate bugs. They're so disgusting looking. Eww." Bane kept a close eye on the cat. For all he knew, she could randomly be kidnapped or should he think—catnapped. "Stay close, Naize. Outside is dangerous."

Naize played with his hand happily, looking up occasionally for luna.

Lis laughs. "A cellphone is a modern piece of technology that people use to communicate and look up bits of information with. It's extremely useful. I'll teach you how to use one."

"No, you really don't. We're going to fix that." she grins.

"You are very cuddly." she chuckles. She jerks her head back, trying to narrow her eyes, but laughing instead.

"I am not silly!" she smiles, suppressing a laugh.

"Me too. . . until just then. I hate this. Let's just go find them before they find us, that way we can have some peace."

"I know. And yeah, I will be." she murmurs. She tilts her head for a moment, then closes her eyes, murmuring something. Two loops form, then two faintly half-heart shaped pendants form. The next instant, they solidify into two chains and two pendants. She puts one on Bane and the other on herself. "That wasn't too difficult for me, so I won't be passing out."

"Oh, really? Where else is ticklish?" she grins. "And both of your faces are cute."

She tilts her head. "That'll be a bit difficult, seeing as how, well, Naize."

Luna wakes up slowly and stumbles out of bed, stretching. She takes a shower, throws on a t-shirt and shorts, then pads outside.

"Hey." she waves, yawning.

"Oh, Naize! Luna's up!" Lis laughs.

Bane looked at the thing. “What’s technology, and why do you seem to like it so much.” His eyes light up. “Ooo, please! I’d like to know. Please teach me all the things I never learned. This is another reason why I love you!” He threw his arms around Lis and hugged her. He gave her a kiss of appreciation. When he pulled away, he looked at her. “You are very silly, Lis. Make it our mission to track them down. I want some peace. Look, Naize was almost catnapped…SHE WAS WHAT.” He turned around and threw a dagger into an assassin’s chest. “Lis— we need to eradicate these people now.” He watched as Lis did her creation thing. Bane got excited when he put the necklace around him. “I never knew you could do that! Now I have two necklaces! That’s awesome! Just don’t expend yourself too much. There is a right time and place for…lovey you.” He chose his words carefully. He smiled at Lis being happy that he was generally looking at her. “Yes, tracing my lips makes me giggle. Kissing me makes me red.” He grinned. He looked over at Luna and tilted his head. He didn’t know her well. He turned away and looked at the sky. “It’s getting late. Maybe we should go inside and sleep. Or tonight might be the perfect time to ambush our enemies.”

Devon blushed, "I don't think calling me ange…would be a good idea…I am a demon after all" he mumbled. Devon looked up at the moon, "I think Bane called me Shadow at one point…being one with the darkness and all…" He sighed and hugged Osie. "thanks…"

Osiris shrugged. "An angel from hell. You get it…because you're my angel." He nervously laughs to himself. "Shadow doesn't fit you. You're more- star.. the moon.. lune. You're Lune. My cousin doesn't have a good sense of naming things. He can't even name an animal." He looked up at the waning moon. "You're not dark. Darkness is dreadful and cold. Your fun to around and warm." Osiris flinched when Dev hugged him. He wasn't expecting this from what he knew about the boy. "You're welcome, Lune."

Devon pressed his face into Osiris' shoulder, "no one has ever really…" he smiled, "no one has ever said such nice things about me Osie…thank you…so so much.." He mumbled.

Osiris stroked Dev, once again playing with the boy's hair. "Well, I guess I'm the first one. I would also like to add I don't think anyone has made you blush and smile so much either." He cuddled close to Dev as the wind chill picked up and iced his skin. "You don't have to thank me, Lune. It's just me bring me."

Devon smiled against Osiris' shoulder. "yeah…no one ever really payed attention to me before." He sighed, "I still need a nap"

Osiris sighed and it turned into a little smile. "I told you to sleep. Or do I have to kiss you to get you to sleep?" He cradled the boy, picking him up in his arms. "Do you have a better place with actual bedding to sleep? Or do you guys only populate the outdoors?" He titled his head and looked down at Dev. Osiris could do with a nap too. He was ready to pass out for a good hour after adapting to the human circadian rhythm.

Devon blushed and hid his face, "I um…I don't know. There is a house we were staying at but…I don't know where any rooms are". He was never going to sleep if this hellhound didn't stop making his heart race.
