Bane looked at Lis. He dipped his head low. "Yes, Lis. I actually do. I'd like to know your past— no matter how bad or gruesome it is, I will not hate you. I will never hate you, not in a million years. We both have our understandings." He let down his guard. His muscles relaxed, knowing Lis won't implant false memories or erase his.
Lis smiles softly, placing her hand back. She takes a deep breath. . . and then the memories start playing. Bane sees and hears all of it: about her mother and her father, their parts of their respective pasts, how abused and hated she was for her looks, her own mothers disgust with her, her killing her husband, her child leaving later, her becoming a blade for hire. . . but only a few years of her life are transferred, and Bane will know it. There's centuries worth of targets and friends and enemies and love interests, that Bane will just have to live without knowing. The memories, all of Lis's memories, woul break Bane's mind if they were all given at once.
Bane came out of the memories crying. Much like Lis, he buried his head in her chest and hugged her tight. Unlike Lis, he kissed her again for a longer time. The feeling of being the best, the right partner, burned in his blood. He pulled away from the kiss and through his tears, Bane replied, "I will never hurt you. Never in my lifetime." He took a deep breath, knowing his mind was strong enough to digest this after years with his father. "Such a pity I can't make your abusers pay myself."
Lis hold Bane against her, then leans into the kiss, gently parting his lips with hers. When Bane pulls away, it's like she'd been deprived of air for a moment. She takes a deep, shaky breath, then lets it out.
"I know. Thank you, for everything." she murmurs.
She chuckles weakly. "Most of them are dead. I killed most of them myself. The others fled, including my mother."
Bane smiled and ran his fingers through her hair. "I am getting used to this love thing." He giggled. "De rien, bien-aimé." From the wounds on her temple, he knew he could give her his side of the story. Bane decided seeing it through his father's eyes helped understand it better. His emotions would only cloud it. He shifted into his wolf form, keeping an ear out for noise. He circled in Lis' lap and plopped down. Bane instantly started to generate warmth. He yawned and closed his eyes. He might have nightmares from today, but he didn't care. After getting his throat torn and chest bashed in, Bane was a sleepy boy.
Lis chuckles. "Donc je suis."
She sighs as Bane monopolizes her lap, but smiles. "Bonne nuit mon amour."
( hey I accidentally locked my self out my other account this is my new one just to let ya know)
( never mind this I fixed it!)
( aso is Luna gonna do something ?)
(Where is osiris? still with dev?)
(He’s still at Devon’s side)
Devon leaned against Osiris, "I need to lay down" he muttered.
Luna looks down at Naize and starts purring herself, still in human form.
naize stayed there a moment more, cuddling closer
Osiris looked at Devon. “Then lay down. Why are you telling me? You’re capable of doing it yourself.” Osiris might be loyal, but his niceness comes at a price. He is still a snarky bitch that needs to be taught a few lessons in manners. He wasn’t raised to have any—his uncle’s teachings overridden his dad’s. Osiris rolled his eyes and forced Devon in his lap. “There. You’re lying down. Happy?”
The floof in Lis’ lap stirred. Bane yawned and looked at Lis. The wolf greeted her with a tail wag and a few doggie kisses. One would think he would have forgotten everything from yesterday, but he didn’t. Bane stepped out of Lis’ lap. She couldn’t have moved. It is the number one rule: Don’t move with a dog in your lap. He rolled onto his back, but he turned back unwillingly. “What the hell?” He muttered. This surprised him, but it could also mean something screwed him up. “I can’t keep my wolf form?” He muttered to himself, “I wonder the hell went wrong?” His first thought was that something was messing with his physiology. Then his second thought was Lis’ serums, but that couldn’t be it.
Devon, being the gay he is, felt his face heat up in a blush when he was moved into Osiris lap. Brain no longer working.
Osiris looked at Devon with a questioning look. “Why are you so red? You said you needed to lay down, so I laid you down. I was just trying to be nice.” He felt Devon’s face out of curiosity. “My niceness is making you combust. This is what happens when I'm nice to people—ugh.” Osiris pulled his hand away, but because he promised to be loyal to Devon, he kept the boy in his lap.
Devon blushed more and covered his face with his hands, silently cursing himself for blushing so easily. "I fine um I am um…" he muttered.
Osiris looked at Devon with of corner of his lip up in a confused manner. “Are you sure you're fine? You're as bright as the sun, and the sun is very very hot.” Osiris leaned back and proposed, “Maybe your some fire demon. That would explain a lot. I can use fire!” He summons a ball of hellfire and throws it in a random direction. “See! Aren't I the best? Yes, I am—uncle would never say it! But I am the best! I can do anything you want me to do.” Osiris has inflated arrogance and self-importance from all the training and pain inflicted upon him. He never was told he was doing a good job unless he was killing, and he never was told he was good enough.
Devon started laughing quietly, his actual laugh, which none of the others had heard, not at Osiris, but he found the way Osiris was acting funny and cute.
Lis jumps at the sound of the hellfire being launched. It goes into the forest and Lis snaps, extinguishing it.
"Jesus, that was close. . ." she mutters.
naize eventually woke, flushing as she remembered where she was." oh.. oh I'm sorry.."
Luna smiles softly, running one hand through Naize's hair.
"It's okay." she says.
Bane rolled his eyes. "That's my cousin for you." He tried to sit up, but nope, back down to the ground he goes. "Why is Osiris still here? I know he's going to try to beat me up or something." He looked into the sky, wondering what to do about this dilemma. Certainly, no wolfsbane had entered his bloodstream. "Goddamn it." He mutters. "I hate my father. I'd rather he die by now." Bane looked at Lis from his spot on the ground. "Can I kill my father if I get through this?"
Osiris crossed his arms. "Why the hell are you laughing at me? That's not nice. Am I just a jester to you?" One could keenly observe how different Osiris and Bane were. Even though they received the same harsh upbringing, their actions were dissimilar. "Maybe I am not good enough for you. Maybe I need to go find someone that will appreciate my skills." He growled in his throat and had a pouty look on his face.
naize purred, smiling softly. she could feel the burning in her face
Devon chuckled, "I am not laughing at you," He got up slowly, having little energy left, "I think it is … cute … that you want to show off, I think you are great anyway" he shrugged.
Lis chuckles and holds Bane close to her.
"Because of Devon, I'd assume." she replies. "He did manage to convince Osiris to desert your uncle, after all."
She chuckles. "Sure. But I get to kill him first. I'll bring him back to life. Fully, I mean."
Luna grins at Naize. "Oh, you're red!"
naize tried to hide her face "..a. am not!"
Luna laughs. "Yes you are! I can literally feel your face turning redder right now!"
naize gave a playful growl, covering her face
