Evil grin. Greetings all.
Evil grin. Greetings all.
Ooh! More emotional torture for my characters! I love it!
I shall dump my highly complicated character Ren in here then. Just let me know when this torture shall commence :)
Soon enough.
(Hold up a sec. No cat killing. Period. It’s not a trigger, but it damn sure pisses me off)
(And this is my first time encountering it on here, so hence why I’m only now mentioning it)
(Besides that, we’re good)
(Aight, sorry! Noted.)
(So… take two.)
(Thank you)
(So… here we go.)
The boy watched, fascinated, as the human just laid there, gasping for breath from a slit throat. Most of its skin was gone, and a lot of the muscle too. The human's bones were all gone. The skull too. But the human still lived, somehow. The boy looked up, sensing another presence nearby. He smiles slightly.
He watched from afar, fascinated by the sight. So, Death had found another servant. A fanged grin appeared on his face. It had been ages since he had last had a friend.
He teleported from his spot, abruptly appearing on the opposite side of the body from the boy. He crouched down, his eight foot tall frame still towering over the boy. His red teeth were quite clear to see with his wicked grin, and his bizarre golden eyes were bright with glee.
“Greetings,”he said cheerily. He tilted his head slightly, long indigo hair shifting to drape over his shoulder.
The boy looked up, umperturbed by this tall creature. His pale, almost waxy skin was drawn taught over sharp, angular bones. His dead, black eyes gleamed with the opposite of light, and his teeth were serrated and pointed like a sharks. He stood up, his true size becoming evident. He was not quite as tall as the creature near him, but he was close. He seemed both tall and short at the same time.
"Greetings." the boy said, his tongue momentarily visible, a snake's tongue, running over his teeth. His voice was like a desert wind blowing, dry and harsh and dangerous.
He stood up when the boy did, humming thoughtfully. To him, the boy’s strange height seemed more normal than that of any mere mortal. To match the other’s height, he hunched over in his favorite eager pose, his long grey-skinned fingers rhythmically tapping each other.
“Another servant of Death? You do seem quite the artist,”he asked. His voice was suave and light, the happy coo of a songbird.
“Oh! My apologies, I have not even introduced myself. I am Golder, at your service,”he added, bowing deeply.
The boy nods and grins, positively feral.
"Yes, I am a Servant. Much as you seem to be. I can see His mark all over your au." he says, slowly examining this strange creature in front of him.
"You seem very polite for a creature of Him. My name is Kreth. Your au seems to designate you as something outside of any dimension known to me." he says, bowing back just as deeply.
Goldergon grinned wider, his mouth full of jagged fangs.
“I am indeed a servant of Death. The Art of Death is my calling, and always shall be! And yes, I am very polite. This form is very aristocratic by nature,”he said, indicating his fine clothes. His feet, however, lacked shoes, primarily because his toes were unusually long and also clawed.
He paused to consider the last part of what Kreth said. Kreth’s bow also seemed to fascinate him.
“I am indeed from another dimension. Yet, explaining such a thing can be so confusing. So simple a thing, and yet… so very, very complicated. The wonders of existence. It would destroy the mind of any mere mortal to know of what lay beyond their puny hovels. They do make exquisite houses, though,”Goldergon answered, half talking to Kreth/half rambling.
Kreth grins. "Indeed, there is. The Art of Death, as you call it, would be my calling too. We Voided are… complex creatures. I am a prime example of the Voided. I am, after all, the First." Kreth says, straightening.
"Ah, so I see we are both… outsiders. No explaining is required, my friend." he says, laughing slightly. "And yes, it truly would. I have tried, and it achieved fascinating results. I could show you, if you'd like."
He then remembers his victim, who had been silent for quite some time now. With a negligent gesture, the body starts writhing, its breath rattling. Breathing now slightly audible, he kneels next to the figure and makes a shushing noise. Almost tenderly, he reaches out and rips muscle from the human's face. He splits the muscles, then gives some to Goldergon.
"Here. Eat. We may as well get to know each other a little. I'm sure we'll be working together." he says, the surrounding forest disappearing, giving way to a vista of rolling fields, with a gleaming white manor house nearby. Strolling over to the door, he opens it and holds it for Goldergon.
(Im confused… is this an oxo or?)
(Uh… just throw Wren in, please! It is not an OxO. Just… try not to piss off the murder creatures, please?)
(Ohh so its like "Death welcomes you?")
Ren stumbled out of the shadows, trembling at the sight of the two huge and formidable creatures. His location was not supposed to be so suddenly shown to them, but it was as if the shadows he lurked in had pushed him out themselves
(Uh… I don't know what that is, but I guess???)
(More a reference for Serpentess lmao)
Kreth whirls and grins at the human that has stumbled across them.
"Hello, human! My name is Kreth, and this here is Goldergon. Please, join us. Stay awhile." he says, walking over and wrapping an arm around Ren's shoulders.
Ren shivered as a cold feeling rippled through his body, his albatross wings fluttering at the feel of the creature's icy skin.
He nodded slightly, afraid that if he did not comply, the fate of the other human's might be his own.
Kreth nods, and they start into the manor house. The gleaming marble is flawless, streaked with reds, golds, and pinks. Tapestries hang from the walls, depicting scenes of great beauty. In Kreth's eyes, at least. In reality, they show scenes of grisly murders and screaming figures, shapes unfathomable by mere mortals.
"How did you get here, Ren?" he asks, leading Ren to the dining room.
(Hey, @For-The-Love-of-Cheese, you're in this, remember?)
(this is Yenaliis's true self. her other person is modified)
Yenaliis watched, knowing that she was only hidden from the human, she did't care though, if he wanted to see her then he would. After a while, she got bored of just watching and shifted into a visible state. She walked to the front door and nocked. "Hello? Any one home? I'm here to grace you with my presents." Yenaliis opened the door and followed the sound of voices towards some part of the house. But on the way she got distracted be some beautiful tapestries that adorned the walls.
Kreth hears the door pen and chuckles. Well, hello, Yenaliis. he says, mind to mind. What are you doing in my house?
I got bored, and I haven't seen you in a while. She replied, turning her attention away from the tapestry. Where are you? I want to meet your friend. Yenaliis started to wander again, she'd been her before, or attest some place like it, and it wasn't very hard to navigate.
Yeah, I know. Kreth sighs, and Yenaliis appears in the dining room.
"Sit. Have some human." he says, holding out some of the muscle he'd taken from the human earlier. He gestures to Goldergon. "This is Goldergon."
He gestures to the human. "That is Lukas."
(Ima change my character to my beloved Lukas. The only difference is that has hummingbird wings instead)
Lukas shivered, watching as yet another being appeared. He gagged at the sight of searing flesh, the torn remains of human
(Aight.)
Kreth snickers at Lukas's reaction. "Don't worry, you don't have to eat it. But eventually, you will, because you will get no food."
He snaps his fingers, and Lukas disappears. Shortly after, metal grating against metal can be heard. Kreth's face remains as passive and pleasant as it can look throughout all of this.
