Wynn moved to get up, picking up Amelia and holding her as he stood up, he passed a glance over at Dove as she immediately looked away after they made eye contact, the weird feeling from earlier returned.
Only this time he felt naesous, he swallowed. Wondering if he was sick because he hadn't eaten anything during the mess hall earlier, and all he'd drank was the sweet tea.
He really didn't want to loose his sweet tea, he looked a little green in the face though, making the attempt to keep it down.
"im- I'm sure we aren't the unluckies." He swallowed again, forcing a smile.
Rushing to the scene, Ashby saw a group of people gathering and speaking, some of which, she had seen earlier in the day. Gathering courage, they came up to them and asked "So, what exactly went down here?"
Amelia made a soft noise as she was suddenly picked up. She wasn't expecting that. She gripped Wynn a little tighter, a small smile forming. That was until she noticed he didn't look well. She wiggled out of his arms, her face scrunched in concern. "Wynn? Are you alright?" She asked.
Adin, well he was immediately on the defensive while hiding from whoever was behind the black smoke, he had noticed them try and come over and talk to him but he figured there wasn't any time to talk to them as it happened, but it seemed as soon as if happened it was over.
He moved to follow Ashby, also wondering but at the same time knowing what was happening.
Nicolas sat back in the dining hall, relaxing, while campers around him were still getting their bearings. He hadn't been picked and was glad for it. Search and rescue wasn't his kind of thing. He watched as everyone that got chosen met with each other and watched the others panic. Finishing his meal, he got up and stalked out of the dining hall. He wondered if there would be any performance at the amphitheater tonight or if they were canceling their nightly activities.
Dove noticed Wynn’s look, and immediately the guilt rushed in before she could stop it. The mantra of it’s your fault, it’s your fault, started playing in her head, and she started to shake slightly. Her breathing became more audible, and she held her head down, avoiding looking at anything except her shoes. She saw them drift toward the exit.
“We should— we should go,” she stuttered.
"It's not you're fault," Wendi told Dove softly as she gently pulled the other towards the exit. It wasn't that she could read Dove's mind, but she had a pretty good idea as to what Dove was thinking. Wendi spoke louder to the other two, "We'll lead the way and you can follow when you feel better alright? Alright."
Amelia nodded her head at Wendi. "Sounds good." She responded. She focused her attention back on Wynn. She bit her lip as she looked at him. "What's going on Wynn? I thought you were feeling okay?"
He cleared his throat, seeing her face looking concerned. "I'm fine-" he put a hand to his mouth, before giving her a thumbs up, and standing up straight. Swallowing intensely as he cleared his throat, "I'm fine. Amelia, I'm- okay." He cleared his throat again, trying to hide the fact that he was feeling extremely nauseous and almost glad he didn't eat something earlier but also annoyed he didn't eat something earlier, he wouldn't be in this mess if he had.
"It's nothing, let's- let's go Ames." He moved to take a few steps towards the others.
If I tell her she will just get mad at me for not eating, I can handle this.
Dove quickly followed, eager to get out of Wynn’s vicinity so she would be less likely to affect him. “But it is. I… don’t know how to control this,” she whispered.
They passed the Apollo table, whispers from her siblings following her. ”Moon child,” and “She got chosen?” Dove avoided looking at them, their faces.
Amelia wasn't very convinced. There was something wrong with him. She could see that much. She grabbed his arm as he started walking away and gently tugged him back to her. "Hey, do you want some water or maybe some crackers to munch on first? They can wait. You need to take care of yourself right now."
The quest wasn't going anywhere. It would still be there in a few minutes. They probably wouldn't be leaving until at least the morning, maybe even later. It depended on what Chiron said she supposed.
"Asking you to control your gift is like asking you to control your emotions, it's just not possible some times," Wendi whispered back gently tugging Dove occasionally as she sent death glares at the kids whispering about Dove. They had no right to whisper about Wendi's friend, "You'll figure out. It just takes time ya know?"
She appreciated her friend’s words, but cringed at the word ‘gift.’ More like a curse to her. “I guess you’re right…”
Not for the first time, she started to hate the fact that she was so emotional. Of course, this was the first time she’d been chosen for a quest, her feelings were justified (or so she tried to tell herself), but if only she could prevent that from affecting others so negatively.

"Hey- hey what are you-" he let her puol him back over to her after he had taken a few steps, he stumbled slightly. He swallowed hard, he couldn't tell if it was getting worse or getting better.
"I'm- s-sure- it's nothing. It will just- pas over." He cleared his throat again, moving to offer her a smile.
“I can… try…” he murmured, letting out a small breath. He could understand why she didn’t want to sleep. She was probably afraid of nightmares or being alone. But at the same time, he didn’t want her to get weak or sick. He hadn’t really thought about just using his magic to keep that from happening, but he also wasn’t sure if it was healthy.
“I mean, I could use a little practice with my pipe,” he said, trying to lighten the mood.
She just clung to him as he spoke, looking down at her hands, and her single hand entwined with his. She gave it a soft squeeze despite how small her fingers were. She looked up and over at the mess hall, noticing the black plume of smoke.
"is…is that s-supposed to happen..?" She pointed it out with her other hand, so she couldn't catch his attention.
"Do..do you need to go..?"
Amelia gave him a look. She knew better than that. "You're not okay. Now sit down and I'm going to get you some water." It was a nice distraction, taking care of Wynn at the moment.
After making sure he sat down, she walked away, finding a cup and filling it with ice water. She brought it over to Wynn. "Drink."
He chuckled moving to sit down with a grunt, and a soft groan as well he hoped she didn't hear him groaning.
He chuckled slightly sitting up as he reached for the glass of water and staring at it for a bit.
Don't make me loose my chunks.
He moves to drink the water.
Amelia took a seat down next to him. She went back to picking at her nails again. Looking in her peripheral, she watched Wynn. "What are we going to do? What's going to happen to us on this quest? We don't even know what to do or what's going on. He didn't give us any directions or anything."
She quieted down. She shouldn't be talking about this. She just needed to focus on something else for right now.
Ash whipped his head in the direction of the mess hall in time to see the plumes of smoke filling it. At first, he panicked, but then he paused to sniff the air. It wasn’t actually smoke, and it didn’t seem like anything was burning, so at least that wasn’t going on.”
“Um, no…” he began, and then the smoke disappeared as if it had never been there. Ash caught a whiff of a strange scent, one he usually always associated with divine beings.
“I think…. It was a god,” he murmured. “I should see if Dove is alright. It might be best if you hide while I go and see.”
He wrapped his arms around her before letting go. “Stay safe. I’ll check it out, then come back as soon as I can.”
Chiron sighed as he looked down at Azriel. "That would be Hercules, young demigod. And he is sending some of my campers on a quest to find his sons. I don't particularly approve of this. Doesn't help we have no information really about this either." He clenched his jaw. "If my campers don't come back alive, Hercules being a god won't matter. He will pay for it."
He patted the young boy on the back. "Perhaps now isn't the best time to get you settled down. Just try helping out with the panic, and calming other people down."
Azriel sighed into the air and started to walk around asking campers if they were okay. He went around helping the smaller campers calm down and helped them out from under tables as well. Once he was sure he did the best he could he walked over to be out of the way, as he watched campers help each other as if they were family, which technically they were.
Chiron looked down at the little girl that had approached him. She couldn't even be 10 years old. Two new campers in one day. That was new. Usually, it was just one camper at a time. He raised his eyebrow at her. "I'm sorry but you are not going on this quest. We don't allow campers as young as you to go on something so dangerous. You are staying here. I promise Wynn will come back in one piece from this quest. I'll even let you have contact with him. But you are not going. You'll be a liabitly. You'll put them at risk. You will stay here, start your training and lessons."
"I've been on my own long enough not to be a liability on anyone. And how can you promise he will come back safe?" Ava asked Chiron. she then sat on her hands to keep them from trembling. If she wanted to go with Wynn she would need to be, or at least act brave. "If I can't go with Wynn, will you at least answer my questions? Like where am I? And what do you mean by training?"
(im sorry but *liability)
Amelia took a seat down next to him. She went back to picking at her nails again. Looking in her peripheral, she watched Wynn. "What are we going to do? What's going to happen to us on this quest? We don't even know what to do or what's going on. He didn't give us any directions or anything."

He slowly sipped at the water Amelia had gotten for him. He noticed her picking her nails and set down the water, moving to grab her hands in his hands.
"Amelia, we will find out. We have a map already don't we? I'm sure Chiron is already one step ahead of us on what we need to do, as for what will happen to us? Well I guess your gonna have to try and resist looking at me and my good looks all the time." He joked a little near the end. "We will be fine, I promise you." He swallowed again, he really didn't want to loose it on Amelia but he needed to comfort her. "Besides, we don't need to worry about it right now okay? Let's go meet up with the others." He stood up, standing up with her.
Ash whipped his head in the direction of the mess hall in time to see the plumes of smoke filling it. At first, he panicked, but then he paused to sniff the air. It wasn’t actually smoke, and it didn’t seem like anything was burning, so at least that wasn’t going on.”

He wrapped his arms around her before letting go. “Stay safe. I’ll check it out, then come back as soon as I can.”
She watched his expression change and flicker with emotions. She hugged onto him tightly as she was pulled close, she let go and pulled away from him.
"please..stay safe." She spoke, before reverting back to her lily pad. Though she would probably end up going back to him if he was gone too long.
Amelia stilled as Wynn put his hand in hers. She didn't move for a moment before she gripped his hand tighter, tighter than she should've. She was holding on to him like he would keep her sanity together. His didn't get much of a reaction from her. Just a little twitch of the lips.
"I'm sure you're right. Are you sure you're feeling better. I don't want you to go only to pass out on me or something." She still had a grip on his hand as she slowly got to her feet. Everything was going to be alright. Chiron was going to tell them what to to do. Maybe they would be lucky and it would be a super easy quest. Though luck and demigods didn't really fit together.
(I think I got a little lost. What exactly is the quest, and is it alright if I throw Astrid in with the ones going?)

(im just gonna have Ariel chill, since he isnt going on the quest—)
Azriel walked back to the cabin he was in before, kicked off his shoes slowly, pulled a sketchpad out of his bag, along with some charcoal and began to sketch his mom, or what his memories of her made him think what she looked like. After he was done he scribbled over her face then began to sketch the mess hall, his eyelids felt heavy and soon enough his hands did to, slowly but surely he fell asleep on top of his sketchbook, the charcoal remaining clutched in his hand.
