"What do you mean?" Melissa asked lightly, pulling back just a bit. "And you don't have to. I just want you to."
"What do you mean?" Melissa asked lightly, pulling back just a bit. "And you don't have to. I just want you to."
"Well, if I'm carrying you bridal style, I probably couldn't take you all the way. My arms would get tired. If I gave you a piggyback ride, it would probably be easier."
Melissa nodded a little, listening to him talk. "If you don't really want to carry me, you don't have to. But I'd be alright with basically anything. I'm in no spot to complain."
"I can carry you if you want me to. I don't mind." Lucas shrugged a bit and started washing his plate.
"Mm, I mean, I do…" Melissa laughed softly, hugging his waist while he washed his plate. "It gives me a reason to hold on to you."
Lucas smiled softly. "Alright. I'll probably carry you on my back then, if that's alright."
"Mhmm, as long you're really okay with it." Melissa hummed lightly, kissing his back a few times.
Lucas nodded, flushing a bit when Melissa kissed him. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine with it…" He smiled softly and turned around to hug her.
Melissa smiled softly, resting her head on his chest when he hugged her. "Mm… alright, then…"
"You ready to go, then?" Lucas asked, pulling away a bit in case Melissa said yes. "The shop should only be about a ten minutes walk from here…"
"Mhmm, I'm ready." Melissa smiled softly, taking his hand and started leading him outside. "I've got my wallet, and phone. That's really all we need, right?"
Lucas nodded and followed Melissa outside, smiling as well. "Yep. Should be everything. Hop on, love." He turned around and bent down a bit.
Melissa smiled softly, getting on his back. "You're honestly the best. Just set me down if you get tired of carrying me." She hummed while wrapping her arms around him.
"Alright, Mel." Lucas hooked his arms around Melissa's legs to keep her up and started walking, humming softly to himself as he did so.
Melissa rested her chin on his shoulder, smiling as he started off. "Mm, thank you. I love you…"
"I love you too, Mel." Lucas smiled softly as he walked, not seeming to have too much trouble with Melissa's weight.
All in all, Melissa didn't really weigh very much. With her not eating as much she had lost a decent amount of weight, in a rather short period of time. "Do you know what ice cream you want?"
"Mm… what did I get last time? It was good." Lucas hummed thoughtfully. "Lemon sorbet or something, I think?"
"I'm pretty sure that's what you got." Melissa nodded, kissing his shoulder softly. "And I agree, it was good."
"I'll probably get that, then." Lucas gently returned the kiss, continuing to walk. "What about you?" He asked.
"Mm, not sure. Maybe some kind of mint?" Melissa hummed softly, smiling a bit more when he kissed her.
Lucas nodded a bit. "I'm sure that'll be good. They've got a lot of good stuff there." He smiled softly.
“Mhmm. It should be nice.” Melissa agreed with a soft smile in return to his. “We seriously need to do this regularly.”
"Sure, if you want to." Lucas kept walking, adjusting his grip on Melissa so she would be more secure.
Melissa kept her hold on him tight, trying not to slide down his back. "Mm, I think it'd be nice. Especially after a long day at school."
"Yeah… maybe not all the time, but after games and stuff would probably be fine." Lucas hummed softly.
"Mhmm…" Melissa sighed lightly, burying her face in his shoulder. "I don't think I want ice cream all the time, anyways."
"Yeah… especially when it's not so hot outside." Lucas kept walking, keeping up a brisk pace.
"Right, because then it would be silly to get ice cream." Melissa laughed as she nosed into his shoulder.
"Mhmm." Lucas laughed softly. "But anyways, we're almost there. I'll have to put you down when we get there."
