(Crud- Um Ill get my response in)
(Take your time, I'll wait for your answers before I respond )
(Lmao I missed so much)
(No one:
Lou and Emilio: Abandons their brother)
( -_- I wasn't on, my grandparents are visiting)
(I kind just wish there was a reply order lmao. I came back to find that two whole pages had started lol.)
Fio blinked, having gotten quite distracted by someone in the crowd. "What– wait– hey!" he finally exclaimed. "You little bastards, get your asses back here!" but his siblings were already gone, eaten by the crowd. "Stupid fucking bastards." he muttered, starting to walk again, keeping a wary eye out for his younger siblings. He was wearing a white shirt, and a golden necklace dangled around his neck, the pendant a skull. He was a Necromancer and he was the oldest of the triplets, and he was supposed to keep an eye on his siblings, especially with their first Mardi Gras.
(I kind just wish there was a reply order lmao. I came back to find that two whole pages had started lol.)
(Same here; it would make it a lot easier for everyone to keep up)

(For this type of RP I feel like an order might hinder it more than help it. Besides typically in rp with orders (That I've seen/been in) they tend to die quicker. Also, two pages isn't that bad to have missed (Fun fact, in early day notebook it would have only been one page), but if we've got people missing 5 or 10 pages then I might make a stronger case for a reply order.)
((I’m not big on reply orders myself— but I’m also not the one who makes the choice in the end so I’ll probably stick with whatever. But all of the RPs with a reply order I’ve been in have died faster than ones without is what I’ve noticed, it may not be the same for this RP but that’s just a side observation of mine as well))
(I mean…I've seen it go one way or the other. I think the main thing is that RPs with reply orders tend to move slower, which is really all I want. I don't want to be anxious over what I'm missing, because Notebook is not and cannot be my main priority; i can't be on all day every day, and I can't be on late, and I hate it when I get left behind just because I wasn't on and able to respond)
( I've never tried a reply order myself, and like Star said, in the beginning of notebook the pages were a lot longer. I think for now we can set a rule that if you're in a scene with someone or like the necromancer triplets, and someone has not replied for a while, put the scene on hold. Like Reed just introduced his character to mine, but The Fool's character has not replied for a while, so I just put my response on hold. If you guys think a reply sequence is going to help further on I'll definitely be open to trying that!)
(For now, whoever has replied just hold on for a sec so everyone can reply and then we can start the scenes again. We just need to be aware of one another and our character's :) ))
(Ah I'm so sorry, I have just woken up. Oh, and you can just call me Lee)
(oop-)
Narthelliot and Garcia finally made it to the festival. Narthelliot wasn't so exited but Garcia on the other hand? She was so happy, she looked as she just saw the most nicest thing ever. They looked around and Garcia tugged on Narthelliot's shirt. "Big brother! Sabastions not here yet!" That was true. Sabastion was no where to be found.
(hey not gonna be on tonight, please don't leave me behind)
(That's alright. I probably won't reply until sometime tomorrow tbh. Maybe once late tonight at the soonest.)
(Same here.)
((I’ll make a response later tonight since I haven’t in a while, and then I’ll hold off until more replies come))
Oh the old festivals were always beautiful, so full of life. Serafine could still remember all of the bright smiles, and the life sparkling in the eyes of everyone she met. A sparkle she was never going to see again.
She smiled a little sadly, patting Daus' hand. "Don't listen to petite Delphi, I would love for you to dance with me. I'm sure you'll be fine, I remember being a nervous dancer once." What was it with that girl and having to say things that will put people down in some way? The older woman couldn't help but feel like somewhat of a failure when it came to the raising of Delphi because she was so vastly different to the rest of the family.
No one had ever said it, but Serafine knew that Grandme was disappointed in her. However Delphi was just one of those people whom Serafine found it extremely difficult to reckon with.
Serafine listened to the chattering among her two younger siblings, while also humming slightly to the nearing music. Ah, just like she remembered. Sure, the tunes had changed a little, but the nostalgic feeling was there. As the three of them entered the outskirts of the festival, the music grew louder, until each note was an entire vibration inside her mind. It knocked her back a little, and she had to pause her movements just while her senses sorted themselves out. Everything was going into hyper-drive, though it was entirely expected.
"Tell me, Daus," Serafine spoke to him, her voice slightly cloaked by the noise. "Is everything as beautiful as I remember it to be?"
Daus’ eyes lit up at Serafine’s question, his grey eyes searching the festivities in some hope of describing it perfectly for the older woman. He rummaged through the crowd, attempting to somehow get past the masked dancers that pressed up much too close for his liking.
“Loud,” he admitted with a soft chuckle, guiding Serafine through the crowds gently as Delphi wove through people carelessly, most likely attempting to get closer to where the ‘Zoe boy’s’ supposedly were. “But, beautiful. Old Baz is still making the same Shrimp Gumbo every year, the decorations are the prettiest auburn’s, I just wish you could see. Hm, there are new dancers in lilac silks this time…oh! And there’s a whole stand for jewelry!” A wide smile lit up Daus’ soft featured as he glanced down towards Serafine. They would have to go there later on in the night.
Just as Daus went to open his mouth again, he was immediately cut off by another body running into his forcefully. He lost his hand on Serafine, but managed to regain his balance by latching onto the unknown person’s shoulders. Very…strong shoulders?
“Oh, Dieu, I didn’t see you there,” Daus started with an apologetic laugh, brushing a hand through his curls as he tried to fix what had been moved during the collision. “Are you— I—“ He cut himself off as he looked up, suddenly realizing who he was talking to. Surely that wasn’t a LeTour. Maybe his abilities were playing tricks on him?
“Daus?” Serafine’s voice suddenly became a lot more frightened than what anyone had heard before. She was at a festival, she couldn’t feel her brother’s hand on her arm, and there were people in every direction. Keep it together, he’s close by.
She took a deep breathe, and though the spices and wild flavours of the festival were attacking her nose, she could still sense Daus close to her. And something else… Something unfriendly.
Gingerly, she reached out and placed her hand on his arm, almost moving him backwards a little bit as if to protect him. “This area reeks of death. I think the LeTours are here.”
She needed to get away from them. As old memories flooded back, the adrenaline began to boil her blood. What scared her most was the fact she couldn’t see them. They could have been circling around her, and she wouldn’t have known how many bodies there were.
Emilio smilled sheepishly. "I'm so sorry, again, I was just looking for some drinks for me and my sibling-" He was cut off by the woman, his smile turning to an almost hurt frown. "I don't think I've personally done anything to you, so if you could keep your burning hate away from me, that would be great." Emilio muttered to the lady, turning back to the person he had run into. "I'm Emilio LeTour, it's nice to meet you. Anything I can do to make up for running into you? I promise I'm not usually that clumsy."
Lou continued to browse stalls, until her eyes settled on a stall selling jewelry. She found a pair of golden stud earrings, representing skulls.
"Emi'll like these," she muttered to herself. They weren't that expensive, so she purchased them as a gift, wrapping them in a loose sheet of paper she dug out of her bag.
Lou ran through the crowd, trying to make sense of where she was and where her brother had gone. Looking through the throngs of people around her, she saw the tall, lean form that belonged to Emilio. She sprinted towards him, waving the package above her head.
"Emi! Emi! I got you a present!"
Emilio turned his head, eyes brightening when he saw his sister. "Eh, Lou Lou! I haven't been able to find the drinks yet, I ran into this lovely fellow." He explained, wrapping his sister into a one armed hug when she got close enough. "What'ya get me?" Emilio asked, trying to grab at the wrapped package with a goofy smile.
"Earrings," Lou replied, handing her brother the package. "Also, d'ya like my scarf?" she asked, gesturing to her head and taking a bite of chocolate. "You'd better quit flirtin' and get those drinks, Emi." Lou said, her eyes narrowing, before she threw her head back, laughing.
(Holy mother of god this RP moves fast-)
(If you'd like, Mosis, you could interact with my character.)
(This isn't that fast Mosis.)
Delphi, sensing the commotion behind her spun around, eyes lining up between her two siblings and what seemed to be a LeTour member. Her eyes narrowed as she moved closer, wanting to step between Daus and the other families. Yes, she could be a distant sibling, but the moment she sensed something wrong with her family, she had always been quick to intervene.
Daus tried to choke something out between Seraphine’s pained comments, and the LeTour siblings who seemed to be unable to stop talking, before Delphi cut him off abruptly.
“Delphi. Ardoine,” She began stiffly, forcing a sweet smile upon her freckled face. Sometimes, she really wished she had Daus’ charming abilities and soft smiles, the ability to stand there innocently and make the whole world fall in love with him. Instead, she had the lovely job of actually attempting to seem like able. Which failed miserably half the time, so she liked to rely on her looks.
“And! We were just leaving actually. Drinks. Far away.” Delphi added, resisting the urge to shake the man’s hand, who had identified himself as Emilio. Usually, she would, touching people could actually help her see a small flash of their future…but tonight was too busy. And the siblings reeked of death.
(Its fast for me.Im barely on due to homework and other things-And thanks.)
