Killian let out a soft breath, shifting and watching the movie quietly. He didn't quite know what to think of Jade. In costume or out of it.
(Alright!)
Killian let out a soft breath, shifting and watching the movie quietly. He didn't quite know what to think of Jade. In costume or out of it.
(Alright!)
Jade smiled at the movie, laughing a little when her favorite character came on screen even though it was just for a brief time. Aside from the main character being social and emotionally awkward, she could relate somewhat to his intelligence.
(Do you want to do a time skip? I don't know how far ahead but…)
(maybe to the end of the movie?)
(Sure.)
(Kk. Want me to do it?)
(If you want to, that's fine with me.)
(Alrighty)
When the movie ended, Killian stretched and sighed. "I should probably head out." he said quietly, looking over at Jade. "I mean…I can stay if you need me to, but I should go."
Jade nodded and looked up at Killian. ”If you are ready to go home, I understand. You don't need to stay if you don't want to.” she assured him, though a small part of her almost wanted him to stay.
Killian shrugged. "I'll stay if you want me to." he replied with a quick smile.
Jade chuckled a little. ”Sophie would never let us hear the end of it if you stayed.” she warned him. Of course, Sophie might not show up until 2 p.m. tomorrow… but she could still come back around 2 a.m.
Killian chuckled. "Well, which would you prefer, then?" he asked with a light, teasing smile.
Jade hummed in thought. ”Ya know, I’m not sure.” she admitted. ”I wouldn't mind if you stayed but if you’re ready to go home I won't stop you.”
Killian sighed. "This is going to go in circles." he said with a laugh.
”Sorry.” Jade chuckled. ”I just don't want to make you do anything you don't want to.” she explained. ”I’m not an expert in this sort of thing.”
Killian laughed. "Don't worry about it." he replied.
”Would you like to stay longer?” Jade asked, a little shyly.
Killian shrugged one shoulder. "I'll stay if you want me to." he replied with a smile.
Jade laughed a little and punched his shoulder. ”You don't have to be so juvenile. It's a simple question: do you want to stay longer or would you rather go home?”
(gtg to bed now. Good night!)
Killian grinned at her. "Mm. I don't know." He replied with a laugh, looking over at her.
(Good night)
Jade sighed and leaned back against the couch. ”Well, let me know when you make up your mind.” she chuckled.
Killian laughed softly. "Alright." he replied, looking at her with a grin.
Jade returned the smiled with a soft sigh when her phone went off with an alarm. She raised a brow as she checked what had set it off. ”Been a little while since I heard that chime.” she muttered softly.
Killian cocked his head a little. "What?" He asked, raising his eyebrows curiously.
”Oh, come on! That's the bank I use!” Jade groaned. ”Duty calls, I’m afraid. Some yahoos decided to try to rob the bank a few blocks away. I need to suit up and stop them.”
Killian laughed again. "Ah. Good luck." he replied, waving to her.
”Thanks.” Jade smiled as she headed to her room. ”It’s just a couple of thugs. I shouldn't be too long.” she said, closing her door to change.
Killian laughed again. "Alright. Let me know if you need help, I guess." He replied.
”As much as I appreciate the offer, don't you think it would look strange for you to suddenly help me in a fight when you just got scorched by Flame earlier today?” Jade chuckled a little as she slipped into her costume.
Killian chuckled. "Yeah, that's true." He replied. "Thoughts and prayers, then." He laughed.
”Thanks, Killian.” she smiled opening her door and waving at him before putting on her helmet and jumping out the back fire escape. She called Sparky over with a quick command and drove off.
