Jade tilted her head, intrigued. ”What is your favorite then?” she asked.
Jade tilted her head, intrigued. ”What is your favorite then?” she asked.
"Mm…Imagine Dragons." Killian said with a laugh, smiling at her.
Jade chuckled a little and nodded. ”I like them too. I actually listen to some of their songs when I’m working on a project in the Den.” she smiled.
Killian nodded a little bit. "Mhm." he agreed, stretching lazily.
Jade relaxed, finally over her embarrassment from singing in front of Killian. ”What about a least favorite?” she asked to keep the conversation going.
"Least favorite…music artist?" Killian replied, raising an eyebrow.
Jade nodded. ”Or genre of music. It’s ok if you don't have one. I was just wondering.” she admitted. ”Honestly, I’m not sure if I have a least favorite artist.”
"I can't stand country." Killian replied, shaking his head.
Jade gave a little half nod at his answer. Personally, she didn't hate that genre of music but she understood that not everyone liked it. ”I can't stand that weird screaming some people call music… or KISS.” she said.
Killian laughed. "Hard rock and roll?"
Jade shrugged. ”I like some rock and roll, like the classics and even Skillet but I can't understand the appeal of demonic screaming.”
Killian chuckled softly, and nodded. "Yeah, I know what you mean." he replied, smiling a little bit.
Jade returned the smile, laughing lightly before she took another sip of her drink as she tried to think of something else to talk about.
Killian looked over at her, thinking for a long moment. He wasn't quite sure what to do.
Jade raised a brow at Killian staring at her but didn't comment. She was starting to debate if she should leave now or wait a bit longer. She really enjoyed his company but it was uncomfortable, for her at least, when the two were silent like this for too long.
Killian took a deep breath. "Sorry, I'm…tired today." He said with a laugh. "I didn't sleep great."
Jade blushed a little with a soft chuckle at the reminder. ”Yeah. Sorry.” she smiled awkwardly. ”I guess my couch really isn't that comfortable.”
Killian shook his head. "It's fine. I'll sleep plenty tonight."
Jade nodded and bit her lip slightly. It might have just been the tequila but she had slept pretty good. She didn't remember any nightmares either… ”Nothing really beats sleeping in your own bed.” she agreed.
Killian nodded. "Mmhm." He agreed, stretching a little bit. "I agree with you there."
Jade smiled. ”Our job is a tiring one.” she said knowingly. Though she felt a little silly afterward. For a moment it looked like she was about to say something else but she shook her head, deciding against it.
Killian nodded. "Yeah." He replied, running a hand through his hair and letting out a breath. "Though mine isn't exactly a job."
”What would you call it then? A hobby?” Jade asked, tilting her head slightly with a light smile.
"Uhm…yes." Killian replied, looking at her with a faint grin.
Jade chuckled. ”Well, your hobby causes a lot of trouble and wears me out most days.” she smiled good-naturedly.
Killian shrugged a little bit. "Would you rather I wear you out at night…?" he replied with a laugh.
Jade blushed furiously at the innuendo. ”I… I… I can't believe you just said that.” she chuckled awkwardly, burying her face in her hands.
Killian smirked lightly. "Mm. You're welcome." he replied, laughing at her lightly.
”You’re a jerk.” she started laughing, still not looking at him. Jade knew he would have that smug teasing look on his face if she looked.
Killian was still smirking. "I know." he replied, chuckling and looking over at her.
