Killian smirked a little. "Oh? You want that type of secret?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.
Killian smirked a little. "Oh? You want that type of secret?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.
Jade laughed. ”It doesn't have to be. Whatever kind you're comfortable with telling me is fine… as long as it's a good one.”
(I gtg to bed soon I think. Good night!)
Killian chuckled softly. "Mm. Alright." he replied. "We'll see."
(Goodnight!)
Yin walked out carrying the plates over to the table. ”Here you are! Two chicken teriyaki’s.” he smiled at Jade as he set them down.
”謝謝尹.” Jade smiled politely.
Killian nodded to Yin. "Thanks." he said, not sure what Jade had just said.
Yin nodded at Killian, just to be polite before turning back to Jade. ”Let me know if you need anything else.” he said eagerly.
”We will.” Jade said simply.
Yin smiled brightly and reluctantly left the two to eat.
Killian chuckled. "That kid's got it bad." he commented with a teasing, sly smirk.
Jade rolled her eyes but nodded. ”Yeah, I know.” she sighed. ”I don't encourage it but I don't know how to make him understand that I'm not interested. I tried telling him but… Well, you can guess how that went.”
Killian laughed. "Mm. I'm sorry. I can always make him disappear, if you need." he winked to show he was teasing, and took a bite of the chicken.
”Don’t you dare.” Jade laughed shaking her head. ”He's a good kid, I just need to figure out how to solve this… Or find him a more interesting girlfriend.” she shrugged picking up her chopsticks. ”Do you like the food?”
Killian chuckled. "Mm. Fine, I won't." He replied. "Yeah, the food is good." He took another bite.
”Thank you.” Jade smiled with a hint of relief. She knew he, most likely, wasn't serious about it but it was reassuring to hear him say that. ”I told you it was.” she smirked and started eating her own meal.
Killian smiled, and winked. "Mm." He replied, and kept eating.
Jade giggled at his wink but rolled her eyes and continued eating as well. He was such a puzzle in a way. A villain with a heart of gold buried by something from his past. He probably didn't even see it in himself… But she was starting to.
Killian took a sip of water, watching her for a long moment. Then he returned to his food.
Jade raised a brow as she caught him staring at her. ”What are you looking at?” she asked taking a drink.
"What? Well, flesh, I suppose." Killian replied with a shrug.
Jade chuckled at his sarcastic answer. ”I guess I need to be more specific with my questions.” she rolled her eyes. ”I meant why were you staring at me?”
Killian grinned cheekily. "I don't know. Because I was?" He replied, raising his eyebrows.
Jade shook her head. ”What are you, part Fae or something?” she chuckled, referencing how much he danced around giving a straight answer.
Killian smirked. "Why are you asking, because I'm so handsome?" He asked teasingly, grinning.
Jade chuckled slightly. ”You really are infuriating.” she smiled playfully, taking another bite of chicken.
Killian smirked. "Thanks." he replied, winking at her.
Jade smiled broadly, laughing with him. ”Well, you accepted that one well.” she teased.
He grinned back. "Mm. Yes, yes I did." he replied, taking another bite of food.
She chuckled at him and took a small sip of her water, her smile never wavering. She really enjoyed spending time with him.
Killian ate some more. He glanced at her, then around the restaurant.
The restaurant was tastefully decorated with some Chinese artwork but nothing ostentatious. A few scroll paintings and vases, some of which had real plants in them. It almost gave a homey feel but still a bit exotic for people who had never been to China. If he looked towards the kitchen, he would have seen Yin duck away from the window as he saw Killian look around.
Killian returned his attention back to Jade and the food. He smiled at her, then took another bite of food. "This is really good." he said. "Thanks for bringing me here."
”My pleasure. Places like this don't get enough business.” she smiled thoughtfully and looked around. ”I don't want them to close because the big-name restaurant gets all the attention.”
