Killian rolled his eyes in a long suffering way. "Noo. Only sometimes." he replied stubbornly.
Killian rolled his eyes in a long suffering way. "Noo. Only sometimes." he replied stubbornly.
She smiled at him. ”Keep telling yourself that, Magic Man.”
Killian wrinkled his nose again, rolling his eyes.
Jade laughed. ”So? Is this another win for me?”
"I suppose." Killian replied, looking around and then pulling his shirt back on.
Jade smiled at him, brushing back some of her hair. ”You did a pretty good job this time. Almost got me with one of those blasts.”
Killian laughed softly. "Yeah, I did." He replied with a grin.
”Glad I was able to dodge that kick at my legs.” she raised a brow. ”Were you trying to cripple me?”
(Oh hey, this is an RP I joined that needs more people, so here's the link lol. https://www.notebook.ai/forum/limited/the-american-revolution-with-a-hint-of-magic-open)
He smirked, and nodded. "Yeah, it was. Because you're faster than me, and I needed to slow you down."
(Oooooh! That looks very interesting!)
Jade rolled her eyes. ”I’m going to try to take that as a compliment.” she sighed.
(yup! It's fun!)
Killian laughed softly. "Mhm. Alright then."
Jade chuckled a little. ”What now? Should we call it a day or do you wanna grab a bite?” she offered.
Killian shrugged. "Either one sounds good." He replied with a quick smile.
Jade smiled back. ”Well, I’ll need to change either way. Can I trust you to get Sparky back to the Den?” she winked.
Killian laughed. "Mm. I suppose so." He replied. "And what? Of course you can."
Jade smirked and got on her board. ”I hope so. I do have a tracker if you get any funny ideas.” she winked. ”Meet you there?”
Killian laughed. "Alright, fine." He replied. He headed over to the bike, smiling.
Jade slid on her helmet and got the board to raise a little, ready to head back. But she waited for him to start up the bike before leaving.
Killian started the bike up, humming softly. He began to drive away.
Jade smiled and had the board rise to her usual riding height and took off back to the Den.
Killian kept going, driving at the speed limit as he made his way to the Den.
”Not racing this time?” Sparky’s voice asked through the speakers.
Killian jumped, then laughed. "Nah, I'd rather not get arrested. Too much on my record. I'd get locked away and never come out again." he replied.
”If I had my eyes right now, I’d roll them.” Sparky retorted. ”They’d have to catch us first. Besides, I doubt you’d stay there for long.”
Killian chuckled. "Mm. And hey, what are you saying? That I would bust myself out? Because I definitely would." he smirked.
”That’s exactly what I was saying.” Sparky chuckled. ”Even she knows you won't stay in jail for long. You already busted out how many times now?”
Killian chuckled again. "Five." he replied. "Not counting the time I broke out of juvie." he shrugged slightly as he drove.
”For bragging rights; say half a dozen. For some reason that sounds more impressive than just six.” Sparky chuckled. ”Though, I’m a little surprised you’ve been caught even that many times.”
Killian chuckled softly. "Well, even I am not perfect. Besides. I may mostly fight Jade, but some of the other heroes are…less likely to make sure to leave me breathing." His eyes narrowed as he remembered a few times he had had to be brought back by EMS because a hero didn't bother to make sure his heart was still beating when they left him for the police.
”It’s surprising how many heroes are… overzealous in their work.” Sparky agreed. ”I almost wonder if that could have been another reason why Jade was attacked. Some of her ”colleagues” do consider her to be soft on her opponents. They've even called her a bleeding heart on occasion.”
