Killian shrugged. "I see. And thank you." He smirked again. "I don't know. It's a fact, take it how you will." He waved a hand. "And I am not a menace. I haven't even killed anyone!"

Jade put her hands up in surrender. ”Don’t blame me, I know you haven't. The news just calls a lot of villains that. You know how they like to blow things out of proportion. Especially when people like us are involved.” she ran her fingers through her messy bed head. ”It gets a little embarrassing sometimes.”

Killian nodded, and shrugged. "Eh. The press wouldn't like me no matter what, I think. Too much of a loose cannon, I guess." He chuckled, tapping a hand on his leg.

Killian nodded. "Yeah, that's true." He sobered slightly, looking at her. "You may ask. I can't guarantee I'll answer." He replied, linking his hands together and looking at her.

Killian blinked. "I'm just not the hero type." He replied slowly. "I mean…" He looked away, shaking his head. "I'm really not." He sighed, raking a hand through his hair as memories washed through his head.

Jade opened her mouth to ask what he meant but decided against it. He didn't know her outside of the costume. It wasn't really her business anyway. Her lips quirked briefly, ”I’m starting to wonder if there is such a thing as a ”hero-type”. I’m sorry if I brought up bad memories.” she said sincerely.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He shook his head slightly. "It's fine." He replied calmly. "And as for there not being a herotype….well…there are those who are, and those who aren't."

She gave a small shrug. ”Anyone can be a hero to somebody… with or without a costume. It doesn't take much to do the right thing.” Jade explained. ”I don't mean to sound… preachy about it, but that's my perspective on heroes.”

She raised a brow. ”Be careful, Hex. If you get me too interested, I’ll find myself doing more research about you and I know I have no business looking into these things.” Jade warned gently. ”It’s a blessing and a curse. I’m super smart but once I get started on something… I often find more than I planned.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian tightened his jaw. "Yeah. You'd make a great villain." He said wryly, still looking out the window for a long moment, then turning back to her and sitting down again.

Jade was shocked by the accusation. ”No, you misunderstand. I just said that I know it's none of my business but sometimes I literally can't stop myself.” she protested. ”Unlike a villain, I wouldn't use the information against you.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian shrugged. "I don't misunderstand. I was just saying that you would make a good villain." He replied, sighing softly and tapping his fingers on the chair.

”Oh. I… I see.” Jade blushed lightly when she realized she overreacted. ”I suppose I could have been a mad scientist type of villain if I was more chaotic then lawful.” she chuckled. ”I have enough ideas to make professionals jealous.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian chuckled softly. "Mm. Now wouldn't that be interesting. If you were the villain and I the hero. I would have already lost." He chuckled, shaking his head.

”A fallen hero and the mastermind who got away.” Jade smirked. ”Of course any crimes I’d commit would be handled electronically. Good luck stopping a swarm of nanobots.” she teased before shaking her head with a rueful smile. ”That does sound interesting. But it's never going to happen, so we can all rest easy with that knowledge.”

She waved a hand, dismissively. ”No. I… I’m fine. I just need a moment. This is normal with my ability.” Jade sighed as her head stopped running wild. ”I told you that my mind doesn't always stop when I want it to. So just now, I had a couple thousand images and scenarios of myself as a villainess and you as a hero.”

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

”Don't be. As I said, it's normal for me.” She shook her head. ”Besides, it was a rather interesting perspective. I had never given it thought before but… I suppose now, thanks to you, I can almost see the appeal.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian's mouth twisted in a strange smile. "Aye, it's certainly an interesting life." He agreed. "You aren't ever bored." He shrugged slightly. "Which sometimes isn't a good thing."
