Cas eventually just climbed on top of a tall bookshelf and huddled there, his tail flicking as it dangled off the side of the bookshelf. He was very anxious and wasn't really feeling like coming down at the moment.

As Sorin was about to speak, he held his hand up to silence him. "I'm not looking for an answer right now. I'm giving you a day, nothing more." Sorin watched as a cloud of black smoke circled around him and it disappearing along with him. He had no time to collect his thoughts so he stood up and immediately sprinted up the stairs.
"Shit… how do I get down…?" Cas muttered to himself, getting startled when he heard Sorin's rapid footsteps. "Love?"
He opened the door and sighed when he saw the other. "How the hell did you get up there?" Sorin looked up at him curiously.
"…I don't really know??" Cas admitted, looking for a way down. "Weird shit happens when I'm anxious."
"I'm sorry I took a little bit of time to get up here," He held his arms up and gestured him over. "Come on."
Cas seemed tentative, but he moved to the edge of the bookshelf. "You better catch me…" He dangled his legs off the side of the bookshelf, but didn't let go yet.
"I will, I promise," Sorin moved closer to him, still holding his arms out.
He slid off into Sorin's arms, closing his eyes as though bracing for an impact. After a second or two of realizing he wasn't dead, he opened his eyes again.
"See? I could never drop you," he held him tight as he headed toward the couch and lied him down.
"Why? 'Cause I weigh nothing?" Cas asked, holding onto Sorin's hand to pull him down.
Sorin lied next to him and smiled. "You don't weigh 'nothing', Cas."
"Fine. Next to nothing." Cas huddled up against him. "The point is, I'm not difficult to carry."
"Can't argue with that," Sorin moved him to rest against his chest so he'd be even more comfortable lying on the couch.
Cas purred and moved his legs so they were flush up against Sorin's sides. "I love you~"
"Love you too," he stroked his cheek with his thumb and gave him a light kiss on the tip of his nose.
He nestled his head under Sorin's chin and started getting drowsy again. Damn cat things… wish I could be awake more…
Sorin wrapped his arms around him. "Sleepy?"
"A little… it's pretty annoying." Cas huffed, nuzzling Sorin's chest.
"I could get you some coffee if you'd like or sleep as you wish."
"I don't think I'd handle coffee very well. Imagine if you left me alone while I was hopped up on caffeine."
"I think you'd be fine," he said with a laugh. "You've handled it pretty well before."
Cas shrugged. "I mean, if you want. Don't blame me if I feel like spontaneously climbing a tree or something."
He set him aside and stood up. "You'll be fine. I'm only giving you a little bit." Sorin headed to the kitchen and poured him a small cup of iced coffee before going back to hand it to him.
Cas sipped the coffee and stuck out his tongue. "Tastes weird…" He mumbled, looking down into the cup.
"What? How? Coffee's delicious," he looked into his cup, "And it's vanilla bean flavored."
"It's bitter, like my soul." Cas took another sip, shivering.
"Your soul isn't bitter Casper," he smiled widely and took a seat next to him.
"I'm a bitter person." Cas hummed. "Gotta drink things as bitter as me."
"You are the complete opposite of a bitter person. You're a softie."
