"Mmm…" Cas was quiet for a few seconds. "What time is it?"
"Mmm…" Cas was quiet for a few seconds. "What time is it?"
"Like," Sorin peered at the clock that was above the television. "4:40. Why?"
"Dunno. I'm always feeling kinda tired and I dunno when it's a reasonable time to sleep." Cas hummed, nuzzling against Sorin again.
"Sleep anytime you feel like it," He began playing with his hair, twisting and stroking it between his fingers. "Isn't that like… a cat thing to do?"
"I mean, yeah, but it can't be very fun for you if I'm just asleep all the time, even though it's pretty normal for nekos." Cas shrugged, enjoying the feeling of Sorin's fingers in his hair.
"You don't need to worry about me. Besides, I like watching you sleep," he said with a smile and lowered his head to brush his nose against his. Though, it took Sorin a few seconds to realize what he just said. "Forget that last part."
"Er, alright…" Cas agreed, blushing. He tentatively let his eyes fall shut and relaxed more, yawning.
"So cute," Sorin mumbled under his breath as his bright hazel eyes fixed on the other in his arms.
Cas's ears slowly began to droop as he faded. He purred and soon fully relaxed, showing he'd fallen asleep.
He lowered his head again so his nose was touching the tip of his. He smiled softly and lightly stroked his finger up and down his cheekbone.
Cas shifted a bit in his sleep from Sorin's touch, purring a bit louder. He smiled softly and seemed content.
He enjoyed hearing the sound of it and retracted his finger when he noticed his shifting before stroking his cheek again.

Cas woke up in Sorin's arms a couple hours later with a yawn. He stretched and winced a bit as he strained his sore back.
The shifting from his arms woke him up. Sorin had fallen asleep and though he still felt the heavy weight of exhaustion. "Cas?" He yawned. "You okay?"
"Mhmm… just stretching." Cas lay back down on Sorin's chest to wait for the throbbing to fade.
"Oh…Do those still hurt?" He pointed to the bruises on his neck.
"Yeah, kinda." Cas yawned and bit his lip. "Hurts to yawn, apparently."
"I'll ice it down for you," Sorin sat upright and glanced at his side only to find that he had forgotten about the peas he had use to ice Cas before they fell asleep. He reached for it from under the couch cushions and sighed. "I'll just grab you another…" He rested the other on his stomach and headed to the kitchen.
Cas whined when Sorin left him, but he didn't try to move for fear of hurting himself worse.
He tried blinking away the tiredness from his eyes but it couldn't be helped. He yawned as he opened the freezer, set the peas down and grabbed another. His brows furrowed upon seeing movement in the corner of his eye and quickly brushed it off as Cas following him into the kitchen.
He wouldn't. Not in that condition Sorin turned around and saw nothing, figuring it was his mind playing tricks on him due to his tiredness. He walked back to Cas with the peas and wrapped them in a towel before placing it on the back of his neck.
"Mmmmm…" Cas shivered, moving close to Sorin to try and steal his warmth. "Why's it always gotta be so cold?" He asked, huffing as he shifted around.
He laughed as he pulled him towards his chest, resting his head on his shoulders as he held the towel for him.
Cas tried to keep his muscles relaxed so the ice would actually work. "You seem tense. You good?"
"Yeah… Yeah, I just…" he glanced at the kitchen and shook his head. "Nevermind. I'm okay."
Cas could feel Sorin's hesitation. "You just what?"
"It's nothing… don't worry about it."
"Love…" Cas began reproachfully. "You know you can tell me anything."
"It's nothing that serious, really," He kissed the top of his head. "I just thought I saw someone in the kitchen, is all."
