"Um… all the time? Pretty much any time I'm upset with you?"
"Um… all the time? Pretty much any time I'm upset with you?"
"You may think so, but I don't. And like I said, you're entitled to feel a certain way about certain things."
Cas sighed. "I may be allowed to feel certain ways, but the way I treat you is inexcusable."
Sorin was starting to grow more confused. "The way… The way you treat me? Cas, you've done nothing wrong."
"I'm… I'm thrusting all my problems on you because I'm too weak to handle it myself… It's not fair to you." Cas looked down at his hands guiltily.
"You're not… Cas, it's okay. There's no need to feel bad…"
"I-I don't want to make life harder for you, but that's exactly what I'm doing…"
"You're assuming that it is when it really isn't," Sorin lifted his head up once more and pressed a light kiss to his cheek. "You're not making it any harder than it already is."
"But I should be making your life easier, shouldn't I?" Cas buried his face in Sorin's chest.
"It's not your responsibility to do so."
"Why isn't it? I'm your boyfriend."
"You make me happy… that alone is plenty for me."
"But how do I make you happy if I constantly cause problems? You can't even leave me alone in a room."
"You're not giving me any problems, Cas. You should be more upset at the fact that i'm giving you problems."
"What problems are you giving me? You treat me very well."
"The matter of my ex girlfriend coming after us, and possibly coming in to hurt you, my inability to teach you correctly, you working to solve my financial issues…"
Cas shrugged. "Y-You're trying your best… You can't control Berenice anyways."
"True, but I can't help but feel as though I've somehow dragged you into all of this."
"It's not your fault, baby…" Cas hugged him tightly.
"Yes, yes it is my fault," he rubbed at his side and let out another sigh. "Now I have to live with the thought of you possibly being eaten or dragged to Hell by her."
"You're just as much at risk… like I said, you can't exactly control Berenice."
"I feel like… I feel like I could always do more to protect you… "
"You're doing a lot for me, love… you'll never be satisfied if you never think you've done enough. I'd know."
"I'll feel satisfied once I've actually done something."
"But you have done something. You've done many things."
"Maybe a few things, Cas… but trust me when I say that I could always do more."
Cas sighed. "Technically speaking, and only technically, yes… You don't need to, though."
"Yes," he fixed his attention on him and nodded firmly. "I do. I really do."
"No, baby, you don't… you're already doing so much…"
Sorin shook his head and lowered it to kiss the bridge of his nose. "Not enough yet."
