Cas purred softly and glanced over at the two guys, seeming a bit concerned now.
Sorin looked up at him and softly brushed his nose along the curve of his neck. "Don't worry. If they try anything, i'll handle it."
Cas nodded and kissed him softly again. "Should I change back or just stay in this?"
"You could change if you want to," he pulled away and held his hands, his eyes roaming all over his entire outfit. "But I really like these clothes."
"I'll keep them on, then." Cas grinned again, seeming more cheerful than he'd been in a while.
"Is that all you're getting? You could always get more, you know."
"Well, I've got the vests too." Cas gestured to the clothes in Sorin's arms.
He nodded. "I know… but you could get more."
"I could always get more if I wanted, but we're a bit short on money right now, babe." Cas said softly.
"Yeah, I know that but…" he lowered his head and kissed his nose. "I wanna make you happy."
"Love, I don't need clothes to make me happy…" Cas murmured. "I just need you."
"Am I truly enough?" He traced his bottom lip with his thumb.
"Of course you're enough, love…" Cas kissed his knuckles gently. "All the gifts and stuff are nice and all, but I don't need them. Hell, if I were still on the streets, but I had you, I'd be happy."
Sorin smiled and pressed his lips against his cheek. "Are you ready to go?"
"Mhmm. We gotta check out first, though. I've heard stealing is frowned upon." Cas held Sorin's hand and walked on, taking notice of a couple people looking at them disapprovingly again.
"Oh, I know that. I wasn't going to walk off without pay–" Sorin stopped walking and turned to him. "Wait, you've heard? As in you didn't know?"
"I'm joking, relax." Cas held up his free hand. "…mostly. I-I mean, I only ever stole food for necessity when I was on the streets, okay?"
He nodded. "Yeah, I get that…" Sorin walked toward the counter and waited for the girl in front of them to finish. Sorin ripped off the tags from Cas's clothes to give to the cashier to scan as well as the vests in his arms.
Cas held Sorin's hand through the process, keeping an eye on the disapproving people.
He grabbed the small bag and glanced at them, wrapping an arm around Cas to keep him close.
Cas stayed close to him while they left, though he still seemed a bit tense.
(Are we gonna get confronted?)
(Oui, oui.. though only if you want to. I don't really mind it)
Sorin ran his hand through his hair, occasionally glancing behind him to make sure no one followed the two.
(Sounds good to me. I love drama)
Cas spotted the two others walking out after them right before he turned back around. He tried to not think about it too much.
(highkey same lol)
He avoided them and turned to Cas. "If they try anything," he lowered his voice even more. "I will handle it, okay?"
Cas nodded and held a bit tighter to Sorin's hand, though the sound of their footsteps was making his heart race.
He opened the door and walked outside, but halted abruptly as he felt someone tug at his hand. He whirled around, his heart dropping to his chest upon seeing his boyfriend being dragged by the back of his collar.
Cas coughed, choking and struggling against the person's grip. "H-Hey! L-" He coughed again. "Let go of me!"
He ran to him, his rage flooding throughout his entire body all at once. He pushed the man off, causing him to bump into another person walking into the store, though Sorin didn't care. He propped Cas up, luckily soon enough before a kick to the back of his leg and a hard tug on his shirt sent him to the ground.
"Sorin!" Cas tried to catch him, but he was quickly pushed to the ground as well. He was dazed for a moment, and then he was both terrified and angry. "W-What the hell?!"
