Wait a second… He took the mitts from Cas's hands and set them on the counter. "I forgot you aren't allowed anywhere near hot things." Sorin opened the oven and put both pans in their own separate racks.
Wait a second… He took the mitts from Cas's hands and set them on the counter. "I forgot you aren't allowed anywhere near hot things." Sorin opened the oven and put both pans in their own separate racks.
Cas huffed and reluctantly stepped away. He licked some cookie dough off his hand.
He closed the oven. "You know you could just wash…" he shook his head and took off the mitts. "Nevermind."
Cas pulled Sorin down to his level and slowly licked his cheek. There was cookie dough there too, but he definitely did it slower than he needed to.
Chills ran down his spine, his eyes struggling to stay open. He opened his mouth to tell him he didn't need to do such things to clean him, but all that came out was a shaky breath.
Cas pulled away and wiped the rest off with two fingers, then tentatively sticking his fingers in his mouth. He turned his eyes up to Sorin with quiet purrs emanating from his throat.
Sorin bit his lip, a light blush creeping in. He cleared his throat. "I'm gonna go get something to…to drink." He headed toward the fridge.
"You okay?" Cas followed him, letting his fingers fall from his lips.
Sorin nodded tentatively as he grabbed the bottle of apple juice. "Want some?"
"Sure! I like juice." Cas smiled and kept his eyes fixed on Sorin.
He poured him a glass and handed it to him before pouring his own.
Cas hopped up onto the counter to sit on it and drink his juice while they waited for the cookies to be done. "How long will it take?"
"Like twenty-four minutes…" Sorin took a sip of his juice.
"Oh… okay." Cas finished his juice and lay back on the counter, whining. "But that's so looong."
"I know," he smiled and downed the rest of his juice. "But if we take it out early, it won't taste as good. We can do anything in the mean time."
"But I want cookies, though." He slid off the counter and went over to the oven, looking into the window.
Sorin set his cup down with a thud and headed over to him. He picked him up, securing his legs around his waist before he set him back down on the counter.
"What did I do this time?" Cas crossed his arms. "I was just looking!"
"You were too close," He couldn't help but grin. "I can't risk you getting burned. Again."
Cas sighed in exasperation. "I just wanna see them! Then I can eat them like, as soon as they're done."
"Not as soon as they're done. You have to wait a bit for them to cool down. It'll be too hot for you to eat if you don't do so."
"Then it'll be longer than twenty four minutes! Uggghhhh!" Cas flopped back dramatically on the counter again.
"Awww, too bad," Sorin poked his sides a few times before he leaned in to kiss him on the nose. "You're so cute."
Cas huffed, hugging his sides so Sorin couldn't poke them. "No I'm not! I just want some cookies and I want them now, dammit!"
"Be patient," he poked the areas he didn't cover with a broad smile plastered on his face. "If you eat them now, they won't be any good."
"Stooooop…" Cas couldn't help but giggle from Sorin poking him, drawing his knees up to his chest.
"Then be patient. Quit complaining and no going anywhere near the stove. If you agree to those terms, I might stop."
"Fine, fine… just stop, please." Cas pushed Sorin's hand away.
"Okay, okay," he propped him off the counter. "You can do whatever you please in the mean time."
Cas got a piece of ice from the freezer and stuck it in his mouth, biting down on it. It was a strange thing to suddenly do, but he seemed to like it just fine.
