He laughed "ok,ok I get it. Except for the last one. I do make fun of you for eating plain bagels." He kissed Nathan iels lips to silence the rambling, hugging him close

"Well, not too much…" Nathaniel let V kiss him, taking that as his cue to shut up.

V laughed softly "you really need to try something else for breakfast, angel."

Nathaniel huffed a bit. "Well, what do you suggest?"

"anything, hell even jelly with the bagel. Just some sort of change. My angel will not be eating the same plain bagel forever,"

"You can surprise me, then… make whatever you want." Nathaniel sighed a bit, still hugging V.

"ok,I will tomorrow." V promised "oh a job offering came in this morning for you. I'm not sure what but they sent in an address to meet up."

"What job? Do we have to call them or something to say when we're available to meet." Nathaniel asked. "I haven't got a phone."

"It's ok, I called and said we'd meet them tomorrow." He reasurred "they never said any specifics about the job."

"That's… a little sketchy, but whatever." Nathaniel hugged V a bit tighter. "Do you wanna go with me?"

"only if you want me there, angel. I can always drop you off and hang around the block until you're done."

"It might be better if you come with, especially if this turns out to actually be sketchy…"

V nodded and kissed his head "alright, how many times am I gonna save you, if this ends up being a trap?"

"Well, hopefully as many times as necessary, as I don't plan on leaving anytime soon."

"well in that case I'm going to start wanting some form of payment for my heroic acts." V teased,

"Oh yeah? Like what?~" Nathaniel smirked and kissed V again.

V hummed softly and wrapped his arms around the other "affection from you is acceptable," he muttered

"That's good, because I'm broke as fuck~" Nathaniel laughed and kissed V's cheek.

"I would never ask you for money for something dumb love." V kissed him softly "plus I gain nothing from your money, only your love,"

"What do you gain from my love, hmm?" Nathaniel smirked again, looking up at V.

"nothing." He said simply "and everything at the same time." He pecked his lips "I can live without money, I can't, won't, live without you."

"Aww… I love you too, ya dork." Nathaniel pulled V down to kiss him deeper.

V laughed into the kiss and shut his eyes in content

Nathaniel's legs came up to hug V's sides, and he kept his arms around the other's neck. Eventually, he had to pull away for air.

V held Nathaniel at the waist "now how did you get on top of me, angel?" He asked softly, brushing his lips against Nathaniel's neck

Nathaniel whined softly. "Who cares?" He kissed V's cheek, enjoying his closeness.

He chuckled lightly and nudged his head "looks who's making advancements now," he teased, breath caressing Nathaniel's ear

Nathaniel shivered a bit, his wings trembling. "I love you…" He murmured before kissing V again, his hair falling into his face.

"I love you too angel." He muttered back, lightly brushing back Nathaniel's hair with his index finger and kissing him tenderly
