Arcspear

A deadly melee/ranged weapon of Thunderian design.

This hand-held device is constructed with a conductive grip, around which are two halves that extend outward from the back of the knuckles when held. When a Thunderian wields it, they can channel their current into the arcspear and charge it up, releasing it in an intense blast of energy with more dependable accuracy than a simple discharge from their fingertips.

The arcspear is effective as a ranged weapon at medium range, but its aggressive pointed spear end is an effective melee weapon.

The arcspear is used to enable Thunderian soldiers to be even more effective in head-to-head combat.

Arcspears tend to be around 18 inches long.

Arcspears have conductive handles at one end and consist of two major halves which come together toward a single tapered point. They resemble the IRL katar dagger with a hollow ridge down the center for channeling the wielder's electricity.
