Thunderia has been lucky to have avoided major interplanetary conflict for quite some time, however they are motivated into action by the looming threat presented by Vortex and his forces, as well as the scourge of the Caddisian nanovirus. Vortex is already renowned for being an unstable maniac who supposedly has the power to destroy entire planets at his disposal, and Thunderians throughout the universe still have yet to discover what the effects of the technovirus are and have no desire to find out.

The armada's main goal is protecting Thunderia and its allies above all else.
