Titans

Titans are a elemental mimic race that emerged from the descended Creator titan, Kaetu, who formed the lands of Pentaerra.

They're social creatures that gravitate towards and mimic the lifeforms of highest social intelligence.

They physically thrive on social bonds, and the more titans there are, the stronger the inidividual.

The great titan Kaetu sacrificed parts of her physical form and strength to create countless titans to roam the lands of Qerani.

Titans reproduce by imbuing their life into molded earth, but the resulting new titan is smaller than the parent titan.

Titans can also nonsexually reproduce with any other intelligent creatures of the planet, creating Titankin or "half titans". This happens when a dying creature of Pentaerra inhales singificant dust of a eroded titan. The life of the titan will fill the creatues that inhale it, and will be rejuviated and grow into Titankin.

Titankin can normally reproduce with their same non-titan species, passing on strong titanlike properties through the new species bloodline.

Titankin

Titans have a body similar to humans, although significantly larger with thicker and longer limbs.

While most Titankin are human, there are a few Titankin that are wolves or coyotes, which are significantly larger than their full-blooded counterparts. Titankin animals have more intelligence, and can even communicate telepathically through sparse language with other Titankin.

Any skin color typically found in humans, although the descendants of Kaetu have golden-toned skin

The average pure titan was around 8 foot tall, the maximum for their human forms being 12 feet.
Titankin (the human mixed descendants of Titans) are often 6 feet minimum as adults.

The ability to command the ground to create "armor", a pseudo mech of rock they can command with the same ease of their bodies.

Titans are not native to the world of Pentaerra, and therefore are not compatible with the energy of Wi.

However, Titans do have the ability to resonate with Natura, the byproduct of living creatures, specifically humans of Pentaerra (who use the most Natura), absorbing and using Wi.

Because of this, Titans actually have a symbiotic relationship with Humans. Humans thrive under their protection, while Titans live off the Natura energy Humans produce. Without a community around them, Titans would lose their ability to have a mobile shape in Pentaerra, and turn to stone.

A Titan's strength is directly linked to the life and Natura output of the humans in their community. If a Titan's community were to be wiped out, or could not use Natura, the Titan would turn to stone.

Titans also function off of memory. If a Titan were to turn to stone and their corpse is abandoned and are forgotten, the titan will then fully die, the stone pillar that encased their physical form would crumble.

There are the pillars of 20 titans remaining on Pentaerra. Of 36 originally, 16 of them have eroded, erasing them from existance.

The first Titan, Kaetu; the Creator, who's monument stands in the capital of Ayesenne.

The remaining pillars are divided across the three unions of Qerani. Each remaining titan across these unions has a House (a tribelike community) that worships under it and uphold their values.

The Marshlands union:

Anah and Purna, the twin Coyote titans, the chasers of dusk and dawn. Representatives of House Anahpurna.

Gyala Perri, the Crane titan of the wetlands, who sowed the seeds of plenty. Representative of House Gyala.

Mahna, the Mink titan, who clothed the people with the finest cloth. Representative of House Mahna.

Baturra, the Bobcat titan. Representative of House Baturra.

Makalu, the Deer titan. Representative of House Makalu.

Tirich, the Caiman titan. Representative of House Tirich.

The Forest Union:

Baintha, the spider titan, who weaves the fate of all life in her loom. Representative of House Baintha.

Fueji, the Fox titan, who learned all langauges of the world, representative of house Fueji.

Diraan, the Turtle titan, who carved the land into rivers and filled the waters with fish. Representative of House Diraan.

Trivor, the Wolf titan. Representative of House Trivor.

Nanga, the Crow Titan. Representative of House Nanga.

Kammett, the Squirrel titan. Representative of House Kammett.

The Grasslands Union:

Russmor, the Eagle titan, who declares freedom for all, the representative of House Russmor.

Yutmaru, the Buffalo titan, the strongest of all with a coat to sustain the longest of winters. Representive of House Yutmaru.

Rimoi, the Pronghorn titan. Represenative of House Rimoi.

Siakangri, the Rabbit titan. Reprensenative of House Siakangri.

Lahotsee, the Dragonfly titan. Representative of House Lahotsee.

Saltoro, the Rattlesnake titan. Representative of House Saltoro.

The abandoned Mesa lands:

The only remaining Western titan is Orisaba of the Mesa lands, who has been renamed as the Goddess Citlali, who watches the River of Stars.
