Hydalay skin colors tend to come in shades of blue, red, pink, and purple.

Being on the small side even on average among the inhabitants of the galaxy, they are most often easily outclassed in physical strength.

The Hydalay are equally at home in or out of the water, and are incredibly fast swimmers. They may be small, but they tend to be quick and agile.

To the surprise of many, the Hydalay are more or less a carnivorous species of creatures, subsisting primarily on the multitude of fish and mollusk species that inhabit the oceans of Hydal.
