Hydal

The ocean-dominated aquatic homeworld of the Hydalay.

Water on Hydal is bountiful. However, it is almost exclusively saltwater.

Hydal is a rather small planet.

About 80% of the surface of Hydal is covered in vast oceans. The depths and temperatures of the waters range wildly, causing for complex currents across its globe.

The surface climate on Hydal is very wet and rainy, on account of so much of the surface being covered with ocean. While there is plenty of life that lives on the small percentage of land, the surface climate is not of much import to the main sentient denizens who mostly take up residence in settlements under the surface of the oceans.

Hydal has one large moon and six smaller notable moons. It also retains a thin series of icy rings.
