Soul Core

Bundles of pure energy floating in the Soul which act to supply the energy needed to cast various Spells. They are most commonly associated with Elemental Energy. The size of the cores can vary, with larger cores allowing for the casting of stronger spells. Using a particular element often may cause it to grow stronger over time.

Spellcasting Process

When the caster wishes to create some energy, the soul instructs the chosen core to duplicate a piece of itself. The freshly generated energy then travels through the Energy Channels until it is expelled in some way.
