Area - What kind of area is Dead Space in?

Vast infinite fields inundated with water. Lakes as vast as oceans. There is little to no habitable structures. What would the dead need with houses? Though, the dead have discovered a way to use the plant matter to their benefit.

Crops - What crops does Dead Space produce?

With nothing to eat, there's no need for plants, but since they can't think, botanical growth is unfettered. The proportions are ridiculous, trees as tall as mountains, dandelions bigger than mansions. Vine forests. Most converge and create intricate networks of flora.

Plants can and are easily influenced by higher order beings (humans, animals, etc.) and can be molded into infrastructure.

Most plants lose all their original colouring and take on a ghostly white, almost translucent quality. Again, the colour can be altered by a willful mind.

Climate - What is the climate like in Dead Space?

Somewhat sunny and cloudy. Everything seems iridescent.

Notes

Due to the Day of Wonder (DOW-day), and subsequent interviews and articles with ghosts (which were difficult to conduct as they cannot speak or interact with matter substantially. Only pantomime) the world has a bit of a clue of the Afterlife.

It looks bleak. Since there's no denomination ruling over the plane. Even though mortals know of Dead space, no one wants to die still. Especially since it seems like it gets really boring.
