Szahn

Spoken almost entirely by Somnans, Szahn sounds harsh and grating, with plenty of sibilants and clicks. There are sounds that involve inserting the tongue between the fangs and hissing, which can be difficult for a non-somnan to replicate accurately. Grammar is simple and focuses on communicating ideas in as few words as possible.

As a written language would not be very practical in the total darkness of the Wild Zone, Szahn has no formal written word.
