A pendant that holds unknown power. The precursor and inspiration to the Soul Cage.

The tube pendant is made of some unknown material but has the appearance of tarnished bronze. It is attached to a leather cord that stops mid-sternum. The tube is 5 3/4 in. long and tapers to a point where a ring is threaded through for the leather cord. The tube is layered, the inner tube is the actual container and slides out when activated.

The precursor to the Soul Cages, the Summoning Tube holds a particularly powerful soul. It houses the strongest soul in Joyce’s arsenal. So far, it has shown the ability: to smite demons and angels alike, heal someone from the brink of death, and revive someone. Remaining abilities have yet to be shown.

The soul within the Summoning Tube also appears to grant passive abilities to Joyce. It is unknown how much of it is attributed to the Summoning Tube and how much of it is attributed to her growing abilities as the King of Bel through the Great Will [The Axiom].

She can withstand looking at the true form of angels as well as have coherence of their true voices. The true forms of both angels and demons are visible though their vessels. She can interact with the smoke forms of the demons though physical touch. She can even physically harm the spiritual body of supernatural beings, outright kill them if inclined, with normal objects or her hands and feet.

Unknown

Despite being a perfect container, the soul does leak out sometimes. These manifest as hallucinations that follow Joyce throughout her childhood. Pharos, the boy in the striped pajamas, is such a manifestation.
