Once read, one spell is instantly learned per page read. The spell is not random and will be tailored to the reader.

The books installs a magical spell to the reader as soon as they finish a page. The second an individual sets their gaze on a page, they are compelled to read it through. Only after completing the page, they are released and can talk to others or read another page. They cannot read out loud if anyone else is around.
